About this activity

Begin with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be where she spent her final days. See its sacred fountains and wishing wall with your local guide.

Continue to Ephesus, one of the greatest cities of the ancient world and one of the Mediterranean’s best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. Walk along its marble streets and explore the Odeon, State Agora, Curetes Street, Fountain of Trajan, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus, Commercial Agora, and the Great Theatre, which once accommodated approximately 24,000 spectators. Along the way, your guide brings the city to life through stories and insights into its history, architecture, culture, and daily life.

After exploring Ephesus, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Selçuk and visit local workshops showcasing traditional craftsmanship and regional products. Continue to the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, before returning to your hotel with your guide.
