About This Hotel

Oakhill Hotel is on Intake Lane in the historic village of Cromford, near Matlock in Derbyshire. The listed house was built as an Arkwright family home around the 1850s and sits in large gardens in the UNESCO-listed Derwent Valley.

There are four suites with open views and ten further en suite bedrooms. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea using local ingredients, and the bar, lounge and dining room look onto the garden. A terrace and meeting space are also available.

Parking is provided and weddings can be hosted. Because of the listed building, the rooms and gardens do not suit guests with limited mobility. It suits a quiet country break.
