The room was excellent very clean and comfortable with more than ample facilities. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A very enjoyable visit, would highly recommend.

Very friendly and accomodating hosts. Will definetely stay again. Very close to the lovely seafront at Portebello, a 5 minute walk from the guest house. Just 7 stops on the local bus to Edinburgh Central train station. The bus stop is right outside the guest house and journey takes 10 minutes to Edinburgh Central. Busses run every 20 minutes through the night.

Beautiful decor throughout. Our room was lovely & spacious. The staff couldn’t have been more obliging, pleasant & kind. Complementary breakfast was excellent as was the service

Very close to bus transport and the lodge was so very clean and nice decor. The little touches are superb! Both mom and daughter are a great treat and just nice to talk too.

Theresa and her daughter are excellent hosts and were very welcoming. The accommodation is 5 star and very luxurious. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. I could not recommend this hotel enough and thank you for your hospitality.

The owners are extremely helpful and are very kind, the location of the Guest house is perfectly situated between down town Edinburgh (20 minutes by bus) and the beach (20 minutes to walk).

Given that I needed to book a room quickly and did not expect hotels to be free during the Edinburgh Fringe festival, I was positively surprised and happy that a great hotel was available at short notice. The hotel owner/ manager lady was very welcoming and informative about the local area and transport links. My room was clean and decorated nicely as well as the bathroom facilities. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed having deep sleeps after long days exploring the beaches and sight-seeing.

Beautiful, large, clean room. Theresa was a wonderful host. Continental breakfast was lovely. Good transport links into town. Perfect location for a walk along the Portobello beach.

We loved the interior of the house (modern victorian style). Hosts were absolutely lovely, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice to see family business suport and all. Despite that rhe latest check out is normally by 8pm, The host waited for us until very late 23:00 much appreciated. Very clean and the house smelled very clean fresh with nice scent, lovely.
