Worldglobetrotter 8.0

The location is very good at least for me since I am not interested in the “fun areas” like Taksim. Each bed has privacy curtains and there are lockers (for which you need your own padlock) in the common hall near the room, but their size varies: most of them are small suitable just for very little bags while only a few are fit for cabin-size luggage. The place was fairly clean and it is possible to pay by card. The reception was always open to welcome visitors at any time they show up and the receptionist was responsive to the messages on booking.com app prior to my arrival, which is very important for the organization of the stay. Breakfast is included and it consists of tea/coffee and a plate with local food like olives, sponge cake, cheese, watermelon, and so on (although I didn’t like everything because it is not my taste, I did appreciate the assortment and the fact that it was a local platter). The terrace is definitely the best part of this hostel: it was very pleasant to eat there and since I had stuff to do I stayed on the rooftop with my computer as the Wi-Fi works up there (although there is no power socket, for which you can stay in the kitchen which still has a nice view).

Our stay was really wonderful overall. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were very cozy, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful — always ready to assist with a smile. The common area is warm and welcoming, and the rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing, offering beautiful views in all four directions.

Fantastic location, close to everything you want to see in the old town. The room had air-conditioning, a safe and they provided clean towels and emptied bins each day. Breakfast was included.

1. Antique Hostel's marketing ploy is to promise that guests will feel at home there, and there is indeed something to it - it creates a certain atmosphere of "coziness" around, and it is a nice feeling. The breakfast is of a good standard and the serving staff is nice and smiling.

The location was perfect. At a walking distance to the main atractions in Sultanahmet. The room was nice, despite a small issue with the shower sink that needs to be fixed, but nothing serious. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Overall a nice stay

Breakfast and location were amazing. Great that the bathroom was directly connected to the room. They cleaned the rooms daily, aircon worked well. Amazing rooftop terrace. Literally 3 mins away from the 2 main mosques.

The location is amazing, in the heart of sultanahmet, good view to the bosphoro, also good breakfast included, the room was pretty small for 6 people, but it was not a problem! You can arrive by public transportation (some combinations)

Great location to be able to walk around Sultanahmet and a quick and easy tram ride to get across to Karakoy. I enjoyed the plated up breakfast each morning. Staff were helpful in organising taxi and recommendations. I'd stay again. The Aircon worked well the one night I used it.
