While the place needs a little love, you can't beat it for location. If you have used the HAVAIST 11 bus 275TRY (A$10) from IST airport (<90minites heavy traffic) you will know that it actually stops just 100m from this hotel, not at the perpetuated lie that the bus will drop you at Beyazıt Square over a 1km away, and for an 8th of a taxi price and about the same travel time use the bus, best of all the return 11 bus to IST leave from the car park 20m behind the hotel. There are numerous restaurants in the streets surrounding the hotel, but if you want a 20% reduction in dining costs go up the hill a bit over the Sultan Ahmet Park, don't expect the per covid prices, a lamb shank downhill around 1300TRY ($A50) and uphill about 1000TRY ($A37). While breakfast is basic the view from the top floor of the hotel is worth it. There is very little road traffic on the road below, so you won't get the obligatory horn blowing Turks seem to suffer from, early morning call to prays you get everywhere in Istanbul, bring ear plugs if a light sleeper.

It was so well situated, and we had a verandah where we sat overlooking the mosques. We enjoyed the old city feel and even being woken at 5am by the mosques' loudspeakers called everyone to prayer!! The staff were so friendly and helpful - in particular Ibert (spelling) who could not have been more welcoming and organised our Turkish Bath and transport, and answered all our queries.

Big Plus --> Location and convenience to all need , be it Food or Shopping or Sightseeing, all within Foot Steps, Staff really nice and helping Clean Rooms and Facilities. Definitely would recommend though it's room rates could have been less .

The position was wonderful, in the terrace you could see both Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The breakfast with this view was incredible. The staff was very kind and helpful: thanks Ayberk and also the other two guys (I don’t remember the name) and thanks to the girls on terrace in the morning, Ayda Azra and Mihrima. I felt like in a family!

Staff were excellent. Room was lovely and clean and the location was perfect.

The location is superb, very close to the attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and home cooked. The spread are not big but enough for a nice breakfast meal. The rooftop view of Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque were spectacular.

Such a great location, pay for the room with the balcony and you can sit out there and look between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Great restaurants nearby, lots of "roof-top restaurants" with great views. Friendly helpful staff and breakfast was pretty good, but you just can't beat the location. It is perfect, we loved the "call to prayer" in stereo from both mosques, just immerse yourself in the area, the different culture and the way of life. Loved our trip to Istanbul.

Its location - they were a short, 2 minute walk to the main plaza for the Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful, especially Ahmed, at the front desk. Their breakfast was exceptional and the views from their rooftop were beautiful, especially at sunset and evening.

The location is awesome. Few steps away from Hagia Sophia,Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, shopping and many restaurants. A lovely rooftop breakfast area with great views. The manager Halil ensured we had a comfortable stay

Absolutely phenomenal view of the two Masjids. It was beautiful

khalil the staff member was very helpful, he helped arrange an airport taxi and recommended a really nice hamam spa. the lounge area was lovely and the views from the rooftop terrace were superb.
