Ashbourne House

Very clean, lovely facilities and decor and very close to York. Breakfast was great too! We chose to do the lovely walk into York along the river each day which only took 30 mins. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of nice little touches that made it extra special staying at Halloween with my teenage daughter.

Beautifully appointed and decorated throughout. Very peaceful and cosy. Immaculate everywhere. Warm and comfortable rooms. Lots of thoughtful details and friendly place. Definitely recommended.

Everything the hotel is spotless and so comfy

Delicious full English breakfast.

It is a proper bed and breakfast. You can feel and see the upgrades and thoughtfulness in every space. The owners are very friendly and attentive.

Excellent selection and very accommodating with choices

Very friendly host! Everything just perfect. A gorgeous room! We enjoyed it.

Top class helpful hosts. Couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable.

Lovely building very clean and nicely decorated.

Great location, ease of access via bus to city centre, or lovely walk along the river side path to the city. Room was excellent, host was very accommodating, ease of access, very secure, excellent cooked breakfast, parking was available but we used the train on this occasion, bus to city only took 10 minutes and we went to the Designer Outlet via bus and again only 15 minutes.

Welcoming, Location, Clean & Comfy & Good breakfast.

Spotless! Very comfy bed . We will return

Was very clean and comfortable, a very good location only a short walk along the riverside into the city centre. The owners were very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend this place

The friendly approach of the stuff and the adaptability made the place more welcoming. I was pleasantly suprised by the room size and the facilities included, as well as abudance of trees and plants around the area.

We liked the comfortable bed, clean shower and water pressure. We liked the decor and lighting with fan combo, and small passage between hallway and bedroom. We loved the breakfast and warmth of feeling in the house and efficiency of staff.

Everything was fab. The location is spot on only a wee walk to bus stop. The area so peaceful. And the owners are so nice.

Friendly welcoming owners. Spotlessly clean. Decorated and furnished to a high standard.
