Burton Stone Inn – Free Parking on site

Property situated on a leafy street not far from York centre, approx 10/15 mins at relaxed pace. Welcoming and friendly hosts, who make you feel at home at the property. Dining and bar areas are well presented in a great style and spacious. Facilities available in room such as tea/coffee and biscuits, and shampoo/shower gel and plenty of towels.

Very friendly people.. Great food!!!!!

Lovely comfortable room, super helpful hosts, great location just a short walk to York centre and the best poached eggs ever. I will definitely be returning ☺️

We had a beautiful room on the ground floor. Very tastefully decorated, a huge bed and a wonderful en suite. George couldn’t do enough for us and made us very welcome. A short stroll to the Minster/ centre of town made it an ideal location.

Lovely old quirky building - loved it. George was great.

Very comfortable room. Great location.

There is not one thing I can fault with this fantastic establishment, the pictures don't do it justice, the bathroom was beautiful and so was the bedroom. I advise anyone to definitely book breakfast, great choice and what a bargain, thank you so much 😊.

Walkable distance to the city walls. Well appointed room. Parking available. Nice choice of hot breakfast options.

Location perfect short walk to town centre . Car parking onsite. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Really good,clean and comfortable room.

staff very friendly

Location was great just a short walk into York, Staff are very welcoming and nothings a bother I’ve got to say breakfast was the best I’ve ever tasted we will definitely be going back

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable, room was huge (great for the children). Location was just a ten minute walk from the city centre and we could reach everything by foot. Breakfast was awesome - there were cereals, toast, jam, yoghurt and fruit salad served as a buffet. Warm breakfast choices could be ordered - the fried halloumi with English muffin and scrambled eggs was the best, in my honest opinion. Our hosts were very nice and we felt welcome. We hope to visit Britain again in the next few years and if we have the chance, we will definitely stay at Burton Stone Inn again.

Fantastic breakfast of Continental options including really lovely fresh fruit and hot food options freshly made to order. Very comfy beds and the staff were very friendly.

Easy to find. Nice room. Excellent breakfast. 15 minute walk to York centre.

Rooms were perfect and very comfortable beds. Lovely atmosphere and the rooms and bathroom were immaculate. Staff were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do more to help. Great location within quick walk to city centre.

Great place, lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts, highly recommend 😊
