Edinburgh Central Accommodation

Good location

Very close to playhouse within walking distance. Basic twin Room with comfortable beds to spend one night in at a much cheaper price compared to other establishments locally.

I liked the location, the staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned, with no noises from outside, the bed was comfortable but not warm, no pictures, no cups or glasses . It was quite different. I didn't stay the whole night, but I would go back definitely

Basic budget accommodation - for my dates, even the Travelodge was almost £200 per night whereas Edinburgh Central was £89 (private en suite room for 2). Rooms were spotlessly clean. Free water available on reception. USB sockets were handy. Room was small but well equipped. Good location around a 10 min walk to Waverley. I was pleasantly suprised by how quiet this hotel was - I slept really well.

Good quality for money. Rooms were good size and clean. Very central location.

Everything we needed

Well located, clean and friendly staff. Good value breakfast.

Quiet, easy to get around Edinburgh

For the price we paid, the accommodation was excellent. The room was basic but spotlessly clean, the mattress was very comfortable and the cafe served amazingly good coffee. It was also in a central location

Traffic noise. No bar soaps, only liquid soaps. Electrical outlets dodgy.

Edinburgh is expensive for accommo in the city and surrounds, so this hostel was reasonably priced for what we got. Plenty of space in the bedroom, fairly sized separate shower + toilet. Running water from 2x sinks inside the room. Short walk or tram or bus to the city. Free luggage storage prior to check-in. Guest laundry and dryer available (purchase tokens from front desk).

The room was simple but comfy for a short stay. The location is good, with plenty of places to eat nearby and just 25 minutes walk from the castle (going there you cross other major “touristy” areas so it’s definitely worth it). I would definitely recommend it.

Good location

We booked here because we wanted to be near the railway station. It was a good choice. The room was small but ok for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether a pleasant stay.

Easy to get there by bus. Clean room with shower and toilet ensuite. Comfy beds. Wifi was good. Nice staff. Scottish breakfast freshly made and tasty.
