Fraoch House

The host was very accommodating during our stay. The location was quite convenient, about a 15-20 minute walk into the main parts of Edinburgh, i.e. Old Town/New Town, and a 15 minute walk to Leith. With the distance, it was away from the hustle and bustle which was nice to relax after a big day of sightseeing and walking. The room was clean and they make your room everyday. We did not get breakfast during our stay but there are so many cafes and shops nearby which was good. There were nice homely touches, upon arrival you are offered cookies/tea, and there are complimentary cookies/snacks at the door. It is overall quite homely in a convenient location. We also felt safe in the area as well.

Froach House was lovely, Matthew was friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was lovely and comfortable. Good shower, good location with easy buses to town and lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

Location, welcoming and friendly host, clean, very quiet

Great base for visiting Edinburgh, nearby buses or trams give easy access to the city centre. We were given a lovely welcome from Matthew. The room was roomy, quiet and comfortable.

Wonderful location, comfortable room and felt very safe as a young solo female traveller!

Nice and clean

Came to stay for the weekend. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom nicely furnished. The host was responsive and accommodating :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bus right outside that takes you right into the city.

Great location. Easy to get to the tram and bus routes. Friendly staff. Room was large and well appointed

Great location, quiet area

Loved staying at Fraoch House - a great location, and the room itself was just lovely. Matthew also included a few extra touches as we were celebrating a special occasion while we were visiting. We are really happy that we chose to stay at Fraoch House and would not hesitate to book in again in the future.

Lovely home.

We had a great stay at the Froach House. There's a bus that literally drops off and picks up at the door. The location is amazing and close to everything, but the street was still quiet. Breakfast is offered for a reasonable fee, but you do have to tell them in advance. Very charming building.

The staff were friendly and helpful the location was excellent
