Glen Guest House

John is such alovely host along with his beautiful dogs that were there to greet us. It is like a home from home. The room is clean comfortable and cosy with ambient lighting and even the little touches like bathrobes if you were to need them. I would highly recommend this if you want a short stay or long stay. There was plenty choice for breakfast, I would highly recommend the full English. I will definitely be booking again for my next visit.

John was very friendly and extremely helpful. The Glen is in a quiet side street and we heard no noise at all from outside. The room was small but comfortable and spotless, and contained everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We were able to store our bags at the hotel after the stated checkout time.

The host (John) was incredibly helpful and friendly. Happy to have a chat, which made us feel very welcome, and had some great local recommendations. The bed was super comfortable. The two resident Westies were a huge bonus and we loved giving them fuss. The breakfast was great on both days and we enjoyed picking in advance rather than wasting a large buffet style amount of food. Overall, it felt like a home from home and we'll definitely book here again next time we come to Blackpool.

John was the perfect host, very happy to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was really good and freshly cooked. The location was good for all local amenities too. We would stay there again on any future trip to Blackpool.

Breakfast was delicious and there were birthday banners in our room for my husband's birthday. Parking was great. Thank you - a lovely stay. 😀

The breakfast was amazing

Home away from home,very clean and a great host,lovely friendly owner also the brekky cook,spot on. Obviously within easy access to all types of cuisine and of course a whole host of leisure facilities within a couple of mins walking distance.

Full English Breakfast "GREAT" A credit to John, all the guests totally all in agreement. Plenty to choose from the tick sheet as well as cerials juice yogarts and jams.

BREAKFAST VERY GOOD NO PROBLEMS WITH TIMING. ROOM OK NEEDS MORE STORAGE TO PUT CLOTHES ON. TIDY AND CLEAN

John was very welcoming & friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean, tidy & had everything you’d need tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge (with water & milk),tv, towels & complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic. Consisted of choosing what you’d like off a extensive list which meant you could have all or pick & choose! Same for what time you’d like to have breakfast too. Ideal location.Resident Westies Barney & Millie also greeted us on arrival & each morning which was lovely as we love dogs.

What a lovely weekend we have just returned from at this lovely guest house. John is a brilliant host and an amazing chef with his brilliant full English breakfasts. This guy thinks of everything, from his text msg on the day of travel hoping our journey would be a good one and making us feel welcome before we had even met. Easy to understand why the other guests we met there are people who have been back countless times. Lovely comfortable room and spotlessly clean. Never stayed in a guest house where they even supply bath robes for you !! Lots of lovely personal touches like that. Take a bow John !!!
