Tracey 8.0

Great communication from the hotel from the moment we booked, and a warm welcome from the receptionist when we arrived and a very quick check in. The hotel is in a perfect location for getting into the centre of Glasgow with a bus stop almost directly outside the front door. We were in the basement with windows that looked up towards the street , but the room was a good size and a very comfy bed. Slept really well and could not hear any noise from outside . It was great value for money for an overnight stay in Glasgow.

Anne 9.0

Excellent location in West End, close to great independent cafes, restaurants and shops. Great public transport links close by to city centre. Short walk to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and yards from the park. Room was spotlessly clean. Great, warm welcome from Joe on reception.

Everything was very good, we only stayed one night because we were going to a gig at the hydro. The front desk staff were great and very accommodating. They also gave us a large room because they knew we were coming with a baby.

The intimate size of the hotel often translates into a more personal welcome and quicker responses from reception. The 26 guest rooms cover a range of layouts and configurations, as suggested by the room imagery in the listing. Although renovation details are not provided, the interiors appear to focus on restful bedding and practical, functional furnishings designed for easy liveability during a city break. The hotel’s policy framework supports family travel, with clear rules around child occupancy and cots. The maximum number of guests is four, and there is one cot available with a charge. Up to three children can stay free when using existing beds, which makes this a reasonable option for small families seeking a budget friendly city stay. There is no capacity for extra beds, so guests planning larger groups should take this into account when booking. Food and beverage options are signposted by the property’s visual content and policy notes. The gallery includes images of a dining space and references to buffet style breakfast options as well as English or Irish breakfast arrangements. While the precise timetable is not spelled out in this description, the implication is that guests can start the day with hearty, simple options that suit busy itineraries. For those who like to dine out, the central location on Sauchiehall Street means a range of cafés and eateries are within easy reach, offering a spectrum of casual meals and coffee stops before or after a day of city exploration. Families can benefit from the existing bed arrangements with the possibility of free occupancy for younger children when sharing beds. The property’s approach to occupancy keeps things straightforward and affordable for families, while still maintaining the privacy and comfort of individual rooms. Parents should note the cot policy and the maximum occupancy rules when planning a stay with little ones. Relaxation and wellness facilities are not highlighted in the data, and there is no mention of a pool or spa on site. Yet the hotel’s location in Glasgow’s city centre area brings immediate access to the city’s cultural fabric, parks, and evening entertainment, along with nearby dining options and easy transit connections. Guests who value a practical, efficient stay in a central location will find this appealing. Free WiFi is listed as an on site benefit, and WiFi accessibility is a practical advantage for travelers who need to stay connected during their stay. Who this hotel is ideal for This hotel is a practical choice for city break seekers who want a central Glasgow base with straightforward comfort and good transport links. It is well suited to solo travelers who appreciate efficient service and easy access to rail connections, as well as couples planning short city trips who want a comfortable room on Sauchiehall Street without a premium price tag.
