Old Town Stone House

Location was fantastic. Right in the middle of Goreme and perched on a hill so had a fantastic view of the town (and the balloons). Breakfast was great with a large spread and variety. Coffee was good quality and there were a large variety of tea.

Really recommended 👍🏻👍🏻The owner helped us with the booking of tours and balloon ride. It was very convenient as we only have to wait at hotel and transport is always on time. Tours were also good. Daily housekeeping is a plus as they provided us with water and new towels daily. Staffs were very approachable and accommodated us. Also let us eat early before breakfast timing due to early transport to airport. Breakfast has lots of options. I really enjoyed staying there. Walking distance to lots of restaurants. Very convenient. And the owner even gave us souvenir before we left.

Old Town Stone House was the perfect location to walk to Goreme downtown and was included in pickup and drop-off of all our day trips. The rooms we got were a bit tight but amenities like a hot water heater, smart TV and toiletries were included. The bonus was every morning when we would walk out of our rooms and watch the balloons from the balcony. They also have a big and complete breakfast spread which included eggs cooked to your liking. Hotel staff were always present and willing to assist. They even prepared breakfast to go on our last day since we had an early shuttle pickup for the airport. Thank you to Mehmet, Masi, Abdullah and two other ladies (I didn't get their names) for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Very friendly host, nice and clean rooms, location is good - easy walking distance to bus terminal, restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and the staff cared to make our experience good. There is a nice terrace with a fantastic view of the city. The host helped us arranging balloon tour and also recommended us to take a day tour. He also arranged the transfer to and from airport. All went well and we were very happy with everything

The property was located very close to the main strip in Goreme which made finding food and exploring very accessible.

Amazing place with a perfect terrace to enjoy the air balloon flights

There are over 300 hotels in Goreme and it is difficult to choose one to visit but this family run hotel is true to its pictures. It is 3 mins walk to lots of restaurants and shops but it is in a very quiet location. Everyone who works there is very helpful and smiley. They organised our ballon trip which was half the price advertised on Tripadvisor. So I would, if staying ask them to quote for ballon ride. They organised all our taxi minibus too and from the airport which again was at a reasonable rate. Breakfast is delicious and there is great water pressure for your shower. Finally, we did spend some time on their lovely roof terrace.

Hassle free , comfortable rooms, clean, quiet, lovely relaxing terraces, excellent breakfast. Host helped with the laundry, tours, even made us snacks the day we left to take with us. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is ok, little away from the main streets but thanks to that its more quiet area. Its all walking distance anyway in the village. Even a parking place was available. Fantastic breakfast. Nice view from the balcony. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location, Awesome Breakfast, staff

This small establishment is situated right in the middle of Goreme town. Super easy access to the main street, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was Turkish "serpme" style, delicious and fresh pastries, fruits and cheeses. 20/10 for the breakfast. Room was small, but just enough for two people. Cleaned to high standard and two complimentary bottle of water provided. Rustic design was very pretty (apart from creepy snake wooden figurine in the room). Ah, and the views - were simply stunning.

Goreme was a small town and everything was nearby. Old town stone house was probably the best hotel in the block. The owner was really kind and sweet. The views were amazing. We only stayed one night and luckily the Balloons flew right above us. Everything is exactly as shown as perfect. Good value for money. The owner has also opened a restaurant at 5 mins walk from the hotel (cajun corner). We ended up eating 3 times from there during our stay. The food was amazing, must try

Hotel well located in the heart of Goreme. Close to all attractions. Very polite service. The rooms were very nice and atmospheric. The room was equipped with air conditioning, a safe and a fridge. Cleaning service and towel change were daily. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. A very big plus is the terrace with a view of the panorama of Goreme.
