Incredible hotel! A unique country house hotel right in the middle of Edinburgh. You sit eating your breakfast in the most impossibly glamorous dining hall whilst looking at parkland. Meanwhile you can hop in a car and be in the middle of Edinburgh within a few minutes.

Property was quiet with plenty of opportunity to stroll the grounds. Staff was attentive and very accommodating.

We love Prestonfield and revisited for our Anniversary. We had a lovely time. The food was superb and the suite was fabulous.

Prestonfield house is a really unique place to stay. The atmosphere, the style, nature around — we were impressed.

Everything!! Prestonfield is MAGIC. The beauty of the property, the service, all of it is next level. I have stayed there twice and will only stay here in Edinburgh. There really are no words to explain how amazing this place is, you have to actually experience it.

Everything!!! The rooms, the food, artwork, the gardens, the service, the peacock, the attention to detail, and certainly everyone there. This is a must do when we return to Scotland.

The staff at Prestonfield are 10/10. They knew us despite us only staying a few nights and were incredibly kind and helpful. The Rhubard restaurant exceeded my expectations. The ingredients are so fresh that I doubt that I can get the same taste for some dishes anywhere else. The location is a short 10 minute drive from the center of the city and completely quiet at night except for when they have events. The decor is really lovely and I loved the house cat and 3 cows!

Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. We loved. Prestonfield is a luxury countryside escape in the middle of the city. We will be back!

The accommodation at Prestonfield House and the quality of service is out of this world. From the rooms, decor, setting and grounds to the quality of the service, food and staff, I would say a rating of 10/10 is too low. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it will go down as a special moment in our memories. And we are definitely planning to return.
