The Balerno Inn

Comfortable, clean room and friendly, relaxed staff creating a pleasant atmosphere. Varied menu in bar/restaurant which was clearly freshly preoared.

Great friendly staff Comfortable room Quiet location Great choice of food

The room was a good size, clean and had a good ensuite. The breakfast suited me as it was a simply help yourself to cereal etc. The pub/restaurant was very good and the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had no need to use the wifi as the mobile signal there is excellent.

Small Inn, with good restaurant and bar. Room was very comfortable, very cleverly designed and characterful. Good continental style breakfast available. Staff welcoming and efficient.

Room had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly

Friendly staff, lovely rooms, excellent food!

The staff were amazing and were very accommodating on our last min booking x

Really nice place ,clean ,reasonably priced ,nice settings lovely little village

This inn was really pretty and offered a great overnight stop for us. The restaurant and bar downstairs was great and the staff very friendly. Small breakfast buffet to help yourself too was a nice bonus.

A lovely, little hotel. Out first room didn't really meet our expectations as it was next to the kitchen and quite basic but I asked if we could move and they were very accommodating. The second room (on the top floor) was really nice. The pub downstairs was good with nice food.

Good transport links straight into the city.Staff were all so friendly & helpful.

Great communication from staff prior to stay, lovely warm welcome on arrival with early check in as we requested!! Lovely modern bar area.

The staff at Balerno Inn are exceptional! They are so welcoming and helpful!

Great location not far from Edinburgh airport. Lovely pub/restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly, they couldnt do enough for you

Lovely pub, great location perfect for what we needed, great pub food!

The inn is located in an adorable town outside of Edinburgh that is easily reached by bus. The first floor is a bar and restaurant and we enjoyed sitting in the backyard of the restaurant with a whiskey from their extensive list. The bedrooms were very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. A small range of breakfast items were provided for us to take back to our room at any time in the morning. The staff were so lovely as well!

10/10. The whole place is great and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are lovely (albeit there is quite a difference between the different sizes), and there is a great pub garden terrace out the back. Food in pub looked fab too.
