Great location, well designed rooms and facilities; very comfortable

There was nothing i didn't like

The apparentment was clean and well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our requests.

Cleanliness, room amenities, security, ease of check-in and location!

Beautiful rooms and common areas, they make check-in very easy and independent but staff were on hand to assist when needed during the day. We were super lucky to get an upgrade - I will definitely be staying again when I next visit London. Unfortunately had to rush out but they offered us free pastry and coffee in the morning which was a nice touch.

Great service, the staff were very friendly and there are a lot of them around.

We stayed at the gate last week for a few days break and from the moment we walked in the door the reception we received couldn't of been better with exceptional staff Giosia,Victoria,Samina and I think Renata sorry I I have any names wrong they were genuine,warm and kind.The maintenance and cleaning staff all lovely people too.We stayed in the first night in a studio but we're upgraded to a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with lovely views.Its a busy location beside the fire station we enjoyed the hustle and bustle.The fifth floor was a lovely place to chill and so nice to avail of complimentary beverages.We found the location close to the tube station great for connecting and close to circle and district lines and mainline stations.Walking distance through Brick lane to spitalfields market and the best fish and chips in wicked fish in lamb street.Overall a lovely place we'll done.

The Gate is well located, near both Aldgate and Whitechapel stations and subway routes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little small, but pretty standard for London. Staff are very helpful!

What an amazing wee find. Very welcoming, incredibly clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, very well equipped and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful, comfortable breakfast area which also doubles up as a lounge area with hot drinks available any time. Great location. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent staff as usual. Excellent rooms spotless Excellent location. Have stayed at the Gate several times travelling from New Zealand. The only place we will ever stay when visiting London
