The Grafton is an easy metro ride from the Paddington station which was important to me. The room was large and had a very bath. Most importantly it was decorated warmly with a lot of personality.

We liked the boutique style of the hotel. We also liked the restaurant. The food and the drinks were tasty. We liked the outdoor terrace in the evening. The location was great. Really close to two underground stops.

No breakfast. Like the quaint feel of the place. You walked through the bar to get to the staircase to the rooms. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Busy with locals in the bar in the evening but not overly loud and got quiet exactly at 10pm. What some may not like was no elevator just stairs. Didn’t bother us, added to the ambiance of the building.

Having Aircon in the room was a must and made a good night sleep as other places make it feel very stuffy and uncomfortable at night. Ease of check in and bags being taken to our room.

The hotel was excellent. It exceeded all expectations. Aside from the fact that there's no elevator, the service was excellent, the room was not small at all and fully equipped, the bathtub was comfortable, the room was cleaned every day, there's a pleasant balcony to sit, eat, or drink on, and the location is very central and convenient.

This is a fabulous little gem hidden in the back streets. It is immaculate and has a fully equipped room with everything you need, better than some of the bigger chain hotels putting them to shame. Tastefully decorated as well.., even with an umbrella to use should you need it.

It’s a lovely, old and well maintained building, decorated with flowers externally. The room was spacious, nice decor and very clean. The staff, especially Alex at the bar and Canadian lady who checked us in and out, were excellent. Cosy roof terrace.
