The Star Hotel

The Star Hotel is a Grade II listed former coaching inn at 26 High Street, in the historic part of Southampton. West Quay Shopping Centre is about 450 metres away, Southampton Port around 650 metres, and Southampton Central station less than a mile.

Rooms have a TV, a telephone and tea and coffee facilities; most are en suite, and some feature a four-poster bed. The Lounge Bar serves cocktails and wines. Free WiFi and private parking are provided.

Reception is open 24 hours, and function rooms are available. Cruise ships and Isle of Wight ferries sail from the port, so it is useful for a night before sailing.
