Wonderful old London pub vibes. Comfortable rooms, bathrooms and curtains could do with a refresh but otherwise wonderful. Very dog friendly with a welcome pack for your hound. All the staff in the hotel were so welcoming and friendly. The attached pub was a great place to sit and work or people watch. Very busy with lots of young precessional . It’s location on the common made it a unique and wonderful base for my daughter over the last 3 weeks, whilst she was waiting to move into her flat.

Loved the old world charm, the cosy room with everything needed for a comfortable stay and the gorgeous pub below. Close to Clapham Common for a walk, close to shopping areas and an easy 5 min walk to the tube station

Lovely Hotel with a lively bar and atmosphere. Ideally situated 5-8 min walk from Tube station and exactly in between Balham and Clapham. Situated on Clapham common. Excellent choice of bars and restaurants, ideal mix, day in London and a relaxing evening in Clapham/Balham

Great location with easy access into London. Vibrant bar with lots of indoor and outside seating. Varied menu with locally sourced food. Very comfy beds and the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge and toiletries.

The staff was so friendly. Excellent location. Within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Spacious room with lots of unique items like old telephone and radio. Books on what to do in London. Breakfast was lovely with wide variety.

Very friendly staff in all areas and everything I wanted was available. Kindly printed my boarding pass for my return trip home by plane. The room was a good size and comfortable including the bed. Provided me with a ground floor room as requested when booking. Breakfast was varied and well cooked/served without delay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good size room with everything you need ie fridge, tea & coffee making, coffee pod machine, extras to purchase in fridge and a picnic basket with little things to purchase. Great linen, very comfortable and excellent breakfast options. Rooms very quiet couldnt hear any noise from the pub section. Close to public transport and shops.
