The Woodman Inn

The Woodman Inn is a traditional inn on Thunderbridge Lane in the small hamlet of Thunderbridge, 4 miles south of Huddersfield. Huddersfield is a 15-minute drive and Wakefield about 30 minutes.

The traditionally furnished rooms each have a TV, a hot drinks tray and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The bar serves cask ales from small local breweries alongside bar meals, and there is a restaurant too. Continental and full English breakfasts are served each morning.

WiFi and parking are free, and guests can use the garden, a picnic area and a meeting room. A golf course lies nearby, and the surrounding countryside is known for walking routes.
