Union Hotel Port

We had a lovely week at Union Hotel Port Istanbul. The location is excellent, close to public transport, and a 10 minute walk to Taksim Square. Despite the central location, the hotel is a bit hidden, so it is quiet inside the rooms. Like everyone else writes, we found the staff to be very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Sam in particular was like a family member, he went far beyond what was his job to make us feel comfortable, and also Ardalan, who among other things, made sure to upgrade our room so we could stay on the same floor as our children. We have travelled a lot, but we have never met a hotel staff like this, they seemed genuinely interested in our having the best stay. The hotel is absolutely perfect, the rooms are clean and there is plenty of pressure in the bath water. Bed linen and towels are changed every day. There is a small fridge inside the rooms, where free water is filled. We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

We loved everything about this hotel. It’s close to the Bosphorus, train and restaurants and not in the busy part of the city which was a welcome relief. Sam was super helpful.

Good location, a a bit setback from the main road which reduced the level of noise

My stay was wonderful. The staff were absolutely amazing — especially Sam, who was so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Every day he offered me a good coffee and a bottle of water to take on my way. The room was cozy, spotless, and comfortable, and the hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation. On my departure, they even gifted me a lovely magnet as a memory of my stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely, helpful stuff, clean room, really good price , and really close to the Bosphorus for romantic valks or to drink your coffee with a beautiful view. Loved to stay there. Highly recommend

This hotel has newly renovated luxury rooms at budget prices. The value for money and friendliness of the staff cannot be overemphasized. Quality accommodation at budget prices. Excellent location too with the hotel a few minutes walk away from an excellent tram line, which takes you to all the major tourist attractions. I liked it so much I extended my stay.

They are working to ensure a smooth and comfortable guest experience , special thanks for the night shift receptionist and Mr. sam for giving us perfect accommodation , decorated the room for our wedding anniversary and the birthday gift 🎁

Lovely boutique hotel with great staff. So close to the T1 tram which was super helpful getting to all the key tourist attractions.
