Big Bus London One Day Ticket: Open-Top Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing

Want to see London in a day at your own pace? This Big Bus London one day ticket lets you explore the city's landmarks and stories from open-top double-decker buses.

How the ticket works

The ticket is valid for travel within one day of service. On the day, activate it in the Big Bus Tours app; once the countdown has started, show your activated ticket to the driver to board. If you cannot activate it in the app, show your printed ticket or QR code to staff at a stop or on the bus and they will issue a paper ticket you can use for the rest of its validity.

On board

The tours run every day of the year. Pre-recorded commentary tells the stories of the sights as you go, and there is free onboard Wi-Fi. The Big Bus Night Tour and the one-way river cruise are not included with this ticket.

Children and accessibility

Child tickets are for ages 4 to 15, and children under 4 travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The buses are wheelchair accessible with ramps; there is space for one wheelchair per bus (a second can be accommodated if the other passenger can transfer to a fixed seat). The ramp takes a maximum of 300 kg including the occupied wheelchair, and mobility scooters and some larger wheelchairs cannot be carried, so it is best to confirm with Big Bus in advance.

How booking works

Choose your date and number of guests and send your request; at this stage we only place a hold on your card. We check availability with the operator, email you when we confirm and take the payment at that point. If the request cannot be fulfilled, we email you and your card is not charged.
