Windsor Castle and St George’s Chapel Tickets with Multimedia Guide

The State Apartments

Furnished with extraordinary pieces from the Royal Collection, the State Apartments hold masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Dyck and Rubens, Henry VIII's armour and the bullet that killed Admiral Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. Between September and March you can also visit King George IV's private rooms in the Semi-State Apartments.

St George's Chapel and the grounds

Your ticket includes the exquisite St George's Chapel, scene of many royal weddings including those of Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry. You can also enjoy the castle grounds and curiosities such as Queen Mary's Dolls' House. The visit is self-guided with a multimedia guide.

Good to know before you go

The castle is open Thursday to Monday, with occasional exceptions for official functions. St George's Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays. Last admission is 75 minutes before closing. The Admission Centre is busiest through the morning, so arriving after midday is recommended. On 17 and 18 October 2026 St George's Hall and the Semi-State Rooms are closed. Tickets are redeemed at the ticket desk at the main entrance. The castle is wheelchair accessible and service animals are welcome; food and drinks are not included.

Choose your date and number of guests and send your request; at this stage we only place a hold on your card. We check availability with the operator, email you when we confirm and take the payment at that point. If the request cannot be fulfilled, we email you and your card is not charged.
