On this tour, you’ll discover Liverpool’s highlights and the history of The Beatles. You’ll also receive a ticket for a separate, hop-on, hop-off tour so that you can continue exploring the city after your tour.

The bus route will take you past many of Liverpool’s most prominent attractions, like Liverpool Cathedral and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. On a path through the leafy suburbs, you’ll see the childhood homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon and Ringo Starr’s neighbourhood. You’ll also see the real Penny Lane and Strawberry Field that inspired the songs. The trip will end with a ride along the dock system to learn more about the River Mersey. The tour will include lively music along the way, commentary and a handy map.

The duration of the tour is 90 minutes.

Students must bring a valid student card.

Children aged 0–2 years can join for free provided they sit on laps.

Well-behaved dogs are allowed on the tour.

All vehicles are DDA regulated and wheelchair friendly, with level-access ramps and emergency-evacuation procedures for disabled participants.

Please note that to access the upper deck of the bus (the open-top section) participants will need to climb ten steps.
