Very nice rooms, well located, very good breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts.

Perfect location opposite park and minutes from town. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and perfectly cooked.

Fantastic location with parking, lovely homecooked breakfast with lots of options and table service, cake everyday in the room! Host Toni was really kind and welcoming and helpful, asked us about dinner plans and gave us prosecco vouchers for the place we'd booked.

We came to Bath for a short weekend. We were flabbergasted at the cost of accommodation. Even a basic Travelodge was £500 for 2 nights. We were planning on being out and about most of the trip and using this just as a base to put our heads down. I'm SO glad we found this gem. At only £300 for 2 nights. Central location and with a parking space, it honestly was such a great find and enabled us to spend hundreds on us rather than accommodation. The room was well equipped. Fridge. Fan. Air Con. TV. Usually these B&B type venues are a little tired. But the room and particularly the bathroom was modern and fresh. There were also nice little touches such as a fresh cake in our room each day. We ate breakfast twice. The menu was the same that could be found at a high end hotel. The breakfast was delicious and well presented and the host, friendly, charming and kind. If you come to Bath. Save you money, come here. You won't be disappointed.

Great location and very comfortable stay. Spacious and clean room/ bathroom. Toni was a very welcoming host and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast choice and quality and service excellent. Room comfortable and welcoming including beverages and fresh milk. Just 10 minute walk into centre.

Staying at Chestnuts House waas a delight, it really was like staying at a home from home. Toni, our host was very well organised and all arrangements went according to plan. Having individually served breakfasts was a treat and the food was outstanding.

The host Toni was exceptional and so genuine and lovely. You could tell he really wanted you to enjoy your stay. The rest of the staff also were warm and friendly. The room was not large, but had airconditioning and a fan (the only property we stayed at which did, and that made a huge difference to the quality of sleep on the hot summer nights). Quality amenities were provided and lovely daily cakes left for us to enjoy. The breakfast room was delightful, and as for the breakfasts, oh my! The quality and perfection cannot be described. Outstanding, and delivered with such hospitality and kindness. Although this was our most expensive stay in England, it will be remembered as a real standout. Location also was a short walk to the centre, and so quiet, and lovely for sleeping. If you can afford this wonderful place it will stay in your memory.
