The private entry code for both the building and the room was great for security. The location was fantastic, walking distance from most things and including the train station. The pod itself was visually private, meaning there was no keeping other people awake with your light at night and a good place to wind down. The curtains on the pods were decently thick, helping insulate slightly. And the shelf and hooks inside the pods were great (just wish there were more hooks) The food labels were great, a simple idea that works well in a communal kitchen. The sensor activated floor light was great for coming and going from your pod at night and not wanting the bright lights to wake people. The bathroom was decently clean considering the amount of foot traffic going through everyday. And there were QR codes in there to let the team know if they were in need of an unplanned clean.

The location was great. Check in process was very easy. The place was very clean and offered a nice comfortable place to sleep for a night. I also liked that the lockers were code operated providing an additional level of safety. They provide ear plugs and masks for free which is a nice touch.

Surprisingly quiet despite being in the heart of town & next to a busy pub. Clean. The pods were sufficient. Enough amenities. WhatsApp group & activities.

Once the code set up was squared away - it was easy to come and go. Stayed on a women’s floor - appreciated the central location and being in the heart of the city. Great location. Bathrooms were clean! Full kitchen- it was also very clean. Felt safe. Fans for the pods - thick black out curtains for the pods. Windows that we could open.

The location was so in the center, easy to go anywhere! and how practical the check in process and everything, though it is self check in but the informstion are so detail that I could even store my luggage earlier before in and after out! Bathroom was clean and shower room was perfect with the rain shower and hot water!

Location was excellent. Just off Rose Street within a 5-10 minute walk of Princes Street and the Station, with easy access to the historical part of Edinburgh. Facilities were excellent with individual coded lockers in the dorms and appropriate ambient lighting so you can see without waking everyone up. Staff were friendly and efficient, even out of hours using the dedicated line (witnessed another guest calling it because she couldn't find the confirmation e-mail and they sorted her problem)

Located in New Town (a UNESCO site shared with Old Town), the pod hotel is surrounded by a vast choice of restaurants and bars (I recommend The Chippy by Spencer). Located 15 min walk from the center of Old Town. The staff was super helpful, the rooms were clean. The lockers are easy to used and access (you use a provided code). Self checkin was easy.

Great location close to the train station. The hostel itself was pretty clean, floors could use a mop but with people going in and out I understand that's hard to maintain. Check-in was easy and nice to have free luggage storage.
