Edinburgh West Side Hostel

Specially Kitchen is ample and equipped with all required machinery and cutlery. Clean as well. Bathrooms are also clean and good to use.

I asked to drop off my bag earlier than check-in time and the owner is really helpful and welcoming.

Very comfortable bed, excellent shower and very clean.

The host communicated properly in advance my accommodation and was waiting for me. The room was very quiet. There is a large kitchen with all necessary equipment. The location is perfect - close to the Airport and the owner arranged for me a parking lot behind - very convenient. The bathroom was clean and very convenient as well - attached to the bedroom. I could relax very good.

It has everything you need such as towels, cookers, hair dryer etc. Transport is convenient to both Heriot-Watt University and city center. Several big supermarkets are within walking distance as well as a 24h convenient store. The kebab shop (Mr Shawarma) on the other side of the street is superb. The toilet and kitchen are quite clean and WiFi is good.

The staff were very supportive even though I had stayed for the weekend. I may consider a week stay on another journey. The hostel was located very close to shops and local transport.

The host is very friendly, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very nice, with plenty of space and a large window.

The owner was very supportive with the booking modifications and late arrival schedule. The room was spacious, bathrooms were clean, bedding was good. The facilities were accessible. It was a comfortable stay.

Excellent kitchen, spotlessly clean everywhere

I didn't like the man who managed the Hostel because in one morning coming in the room 3 times with no reason(we was just girls in the room) .After checking in around 11.30pm the same he come and wake me up for asking me if it's everything OK. Nobody from reception come in my room to asking me if I am OK in my entire life from when I start travelling. And I see that he didn't change the beds sheets after people leaving the room.This is very bad things!

Meals not included prepared own food the kitchen facilities were good there were enough kitchen implements and after the food was consumed I cleaned up after myself

Comfortable room and toilet. Felt like home.
