Holiday Inn Express York, an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff. Only stayed for one night but nothing really to fault

The location was ideal for us as we wanted somewhere that was easily accessible.

The staff were lovely, room was clean, breakfast was amazing

Quick overnight stay, good to have the carvery next door

Everything, our room was excellent, breakfast very good indeed, nothing to complain at all

Easy to get to. Breakfast was good. Would stay again, shower good, beds comfortable.

Location to York and Monks cross shopping centre.

Lovely welcoming hotel with lovely staff. Carpark was always rammed but managed to park at the pub. Lovely clean, comfy beds and room......lots of spiders though which we didn't mind! Visiting York was lovely and my Sister lives up the road. Brekkie was fab too..........and great selection! We will definately return especially as we know that you are dog friendly!! 🐕 Thanks guys x

The room had everything we could need. Comfy beds, white bed linen and pillows. Hanging space and shelves. Lamps. TV. Range of sockets including USB and a full length mirror near hairdryer. Blackout curtain, radiator we could switch on or off. Nice deep step-in shower tray with hand grip on wall, hooks and shelf area in bathroom, tea and coffee tray and a window we could open. We slept really well. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Parking on site and a covered car pull in canopy in front of hotel door so you don’t need to get wet. Breakfast buffet with hot and/ or cold selection and overall very good value for money.

The ability to check in late in the evening. I know exactly what the rooms and facilities will be like.

Location, parking and cleanliness and size of rooms

Breakfast was fine but could do with more fresh fruit and other healthy options.
