Minster Walk Guesthouse

Great location just outside the city walls and only a few minutes walk from York Minster. Lovely lounge area to relax in. Great decor, clean, high quality toiletries.

Loved the Harry Potter themed room #8. The breakfast was so tasty.

Absolutely loved our stay. The room was gorgeous, clean, had everything you needed. Extra teabags and milk which was great as usually only limited amounts in other hotels etc. Breakfast hamper was so so lovely, the mini pastries were so yummy as were the hot baps. Lovely hosts, well thought out welcome process. Just a lovely stay and the location was brilliant, walk straight through the Museum Gardens and you are in the centre. Perfect.

Quirky building, gorgeous room which was absolutely spotless, great model for breakfast (delivered to your room or come downstairs to the lounge) - and nothing was too much trouble. Also it is really lovely to have a comfy place with tea and coffee and sofas to come back to during the day. An all round fantastic place.

Great location B&B on the edge of the city center. Cozy little parlor downstairs. Breakfast included with both hot (sandwich) and cold (yogurt & granola) options.

Great location in quiet area but just 10 minutes walk to York shops etc. My friend and I stayed in room 6 on first floor which consisted of two bedrooms, one with double four poster bed, second room had two singles so we had a room each, would be ideal for family of 4. Spotlessly clean, lovely linen and towels, quality toiletries, very comfortable beds. We took a fabulous breakfast in our room, delivered in a basket with everything we could want, delicious. Cosy downstairs communal area, lots of games, colouring in to use if desired, reasonably priced tuck shop too. Lovely staff, very helpful, thought of everything to make this a memorable stay.

A great central location. Loved the 'quirky' feel in the property. Not sure about the breakfast served in a hamper, there wasn't really room in the breakfast area to accommodate it - but it was fun!

Perfect location and the option to reserve a parking space close by. We were also able to drop our bag off at 11am even though our check in wasn't until 1pm. There were also some lovely touches in the room and breakfast was lovely and fresh. The museum gardens were lovely and the perfect cut through to get to the shops.

The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, perfectly matching the charming York vibe. It was cosy with very comfortable beds, blackout curtains and excellent tea and coffee facilities - complete with biscuits and lovely little touch of Yorkshire sweets. Breakfast was served to our room in a hamper (pre-ordered night before) and included a tasty bacon roll, a selection of pastries, delicious fruit juice and fresh ground coffee sachets with a small bottle of fresh milk. The view from our room was stunning - we could see the beautifully illuminated York Minster at night and the city walls just outside of our window. The location was ideal. only about 10 min walk to the Minster. Very happy with our stay: staff, the location, the building itself and the breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back!
