MonkBridge House

Fabulous breakfast Beautiful room Friendly helpful hosts and staff Ideal location with 10 minute walk into York

Everything was amazing! The owners are just lovely. The room was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast was good, fresh and very filling. We will be back!

Great location, close to city centre. Breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of choices and homemade jam was amazing.

Lovely cosy house. Close to the city so no need for a car. Parking a real bonus.

Great location and wonderful hosts.

The guest house itself was lovely and comfortable but the really amazing thing about this stay was the reception and overall experience. The owner received us personally, talked us through the stay, helped us to advance order our breakfast, and even gave us tips on how best to experience York. So many aspects of the stay were homemade, customized and well thought-out which resulted in an overall bespoke-feeling experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monk Bridge House. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world with a different special every morning! Great location with an easy walk to the old town. I highly recommend!

Great location

Everything was perfect and beyond our expectations

Breakfast and the owners were great, and the location was convenient.

The breakfast is so great, and so much thanks for the delicious welcome shortbreads.

Breakfast was lovely. Loved sitting in the garden in the evening and lunch time. It was a great sunny position and the garden was well cared for.

Fantastic B&B in great location. Lovely breakfasts

Beautifully decorated and thoughtful details. Nothing was too much trouble

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, location was very good. Room was very comfortable. We were cycling the Way of the roses and there was secure storage for our bikes.

Paul and Fiona were very nice couple who run this place with good recommendation of the attractions and restaurants. I could see they put a lot of love into this place. It was a very lovely guest house with everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful with so many choices to choose from. The room was good insulated that we could sleep so nicely at night. Walkable location to everywhere in York city centre. Parking spot is free of charge. We would definitely visit this place again if we would be in York

The building was exceptionally clean and well kept. Meticulously!
