I liked the location of the hostel overall, however you could hear music nice and clearly from the bar at night, but otherwise it was quiet for the most part. They were big on safety!

My friend and I were wanting cheap accommodation in Edinburgh, and you can't get more value for money then backpacker accommodation. Located on the Royal Mile so a fantastic location to explore cental Edinburgh. Royal Mile Backpackers organize lots of activities for guests, so if you're travelling on your own, would be a great way to meet people.

The hostle is nicely located only a few min walk from the train station on the famous Royal Mile street. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hostle is well organised, clean and confortable. The staff even helped me with food recommendations, information regarding the buses, and view points in and around the city.

The property at 105 High Street places you in the middle of Edinburgh’s Old Town with easy access to iconic sights and a vibrant nightlife. The hostel features five rooms, many dormitories with bunk beds, and a variety of shared spaces designed for sociable, affordable stays. Guests can mingle in the communal lounge/TV room, hang out in the lobby, and cook in the shared kitchen. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Nearby public transport and pedestrian-friendly streets make sightseeing simple and convenient. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 23:00, and check-out from 00:00 to 10:30, offering flexibility for late arrivals or early departures. The minimum check-in age is 18. There are no extra beds or cots, and children are not allowed. Pets are not allowed.
