La prima cosa che colpisce all’arrivo è l’accoglienza da parte del proprietario, che fa di tutto per metterti a tuo agio. Poi inevitabilmente la vista meravigliosa sulla baia di Kalkan, talmente bella che invoglia a rimanere in hotel più del solito. Il proprietario ha decorato le pareti dell’hotel con quadri e portoni antichi che sono anche in vendita, un grandissimo gusto nell’arredare che difficilmente ho trovato in altri piccoli hotel turchi. Consiglio spassionatamente la camera con la jacuzzi sul terrazzo, un plus ineguagliabile. La camera è ampia, modernamente arredata con un letto comodo e un divano letto singolo. Dietro al letto c’è una zona antibagno corredata di armadi e frigorifero, infine il bagno ampio con doccia grande e comoda. La colazione servita sul terrazzo sempre con vista sul mare e’ tipicamente turca, ma ci sono anche miele, marmellata e crema al cioccolato per chi ama più la parte dolce. Il proprietario si occupa con lo staff di servire i clienti e si percepisce l’occhio attento al dettaglio e alla cura del cliente. Non ci siamo sentiti un numero come spesso accade, ma abbiamo ricevuto un servizio personalizzato che ha fatto la differenza.

Alles hat uns sehr gefallen. Unsere Kinder hatten sehr Spaß gehabt. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Wir waren im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden und können dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen.

This boutique hotel is situated a little way out of the main Kalkan area with stunning views toward the Bay and the sunset. On arrival we were met by the owner who really puts himself out to make you feel welcome and shown to our lovely room which was a nice blend of modern and traditional, the important modern features being functioning AC and a well equipped bathroom with a very good shower. The hotel is small, I think 12 bedrooms so it’s pretty quiet and you can feel like you’re the only people staying. We only stayed one night before we left Kalkan, but will certainly be back.

Beautiful way to watch the sunset. Champagne in a hot tub. Comfy bed, lovely food and desk space for someone who wants to work from home.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sultan Hotel in Kalkan! One of the standout features was its stunning location overlooking both the city and the sea, offering a breathtaking view. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very accommodating. The delicious breakfasts were a delightful start to each day. The hotel owner, Sertaç, was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay

Lovely views at breakfast and lunch. Food was amazing, some of the best we had in Turkey. Staff were lovely, especially Sertac who helped us with everything. It’s a fairly new hotel so everything is nicely decorated and really nice diffuser smell in the room. Not too busy either so good to relax by the pool.
