Guest Reviews
Super friendly staff. Nice classic, well located building. Ample and comfy room.
Relaxed, comfortable, friendly which was great as a solo (female) traveller. A great base to explore the city.
Property was central to everything and the building has so much charm. Room with High ceiling and large windows it is probably the best room I stayed in whilst travelling turkey for 6 weeks … Vulkan and Ercan were great very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you
1. Location - The location of Cezayir Rooms is near (behind) Taskim Square (behind), which is a good location. Cezayir Rooms is close to the metro and in a walkable distance to many of the sights, restaurants, etc. However, it is initially difficult to locate and I had to stop every few steps to ask people, who couldn't really help me, so it took me two hours to find when I could have located it in 15 minutes with good directions. The most helpful pointer was to get to the University on Taskim Square and then ask from there. Once I located the university, I walked down a side road and then asked again and someone lead me to the Cezayir Square. 2. Memet and the other staff are very kind and helpful and efficiently support guests. Note there is no lift and many steps. They kindly helped with my luggage.
Tha staff were very friendly and helpful.
The historical building is very interesting, the interior design is curated but not intimidating. The staff is polite and very helpful, Memet gave me a lot of precious infos about Istanbul
Beautiful old building and lovely spacious rooms with good linen, big windows, loads of natural light, a bar fridge and kettle. The staff we dealt with were amazing! Thank you Valkan and Mustafa! Such a great Neighbour good.
Great location, very clean, perfect for couples/long stays, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Everything, the room the staff exceeded my expectations. Mustafa and Mehmet abi are one of the best staffs I have ever seen in a hotel they are very friendly and easy to talk to. And they are always available for help.
Cozy with very nice atmosphere Volkan is super and very helpful Thank you so much

The location is great! Convinient, and with caffes and restaurants all around us, easy to get to Galata port and tower. The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet and beautiful.
Great location and beautiful building
location and building
It was good choice to stay here. The price and comfort are equal. Room was clean and warm. The interior of place is historical unique.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Volkan was very kind and even offered to cover the cost of a child car seat for our airport transfer.
Beautiful art deco atmosphere, completely safe feeling for single women traveler. Volkan made me feel very welcome and all the personal was very helpful and kind. Very clean, beautiful high ceiling and windows.
Cezayir rooms are in a great location, walking distance to the metro and lots of nice places to eat/drink. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a knee injury after booking the accommodation, and they offered us a room on the lower floor to minimise the number of stairs I'd have to climb. They were able to arrange an airport pickup and taxi when checking out, which was very helpful as getting taxis in Istanbul is a hassle.
The hotel was clean and rooms were good sized, with high ceilings. Note: there are quite a few steps to climb up, so if you have limited mobility do bear this in mind. The AC worked perfectly (much needed with the heat!) and kept the room nice and cool. The location was great - very close to the main Istiklal Street and there were lots of restaurants, cafe's etc in walking distance. The Tophane station is a 7 minute walk away (downhill) The restaurant within the hotel is brilliant - really good food and a nice chilled vibe.
