In general, it was a good stay. I was worried about the cleanliness but the sheets and towels were clean. After traveling around India, this place was great for the price.

About This Hotel
Kupa Hotel sits in Istanbul’s Old City, a compact yet characterful base for travelers drawn to centuries of history in every alley. The property offers city views and a bar, creating an inviting spot to unwind after a day of exploring. With the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and the Column of Constantine just a short stroll away, guests find iconic landmarks almost at their door. The address is Büyük Kömürcü Sokağı 15, placing you in the heart of a lively, walkable neighbourhood where mosques, grand streets and market stalls converge. This is a neighbourhood that breathes history and energy, making it easy to plan full days around the Historic Peninsula and still return to a comfortable, local atmosphere in the evening. Inside, Kupa Hotel offers 19 rooms that are designed to maximize comfort in a tight urban footprint. The property delivers city views from some rooms and a bar on site provides a social hub for evenings. The lobby and reception area feature seating where guests can relax before heading out to explore the district. The central location makes it easy to enjoy major sights and then return to the calm, simple comforts of the hotel after a day of wandering through narrow streets and bustling squares. While the listing does not detail every facility, the images show a clean, practical space built for convenience and easy city living. Beach and pool facilities are not listed for this property. The emphasis here is on city experiences, easy access to top sights and convenient on site drink options. Guests can use the nearby historic core as a starting point for day trips toward the Bosphorus or the Marmara shores, then return to the comfort of the hotel after sunset. The absence of a resort oriented pool keeps the focus on culture, landscapes and authentic urban life, which is ideal for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul rather than lounge by a poolside. Rooms at Kupa Hotel are a key focus. The image gallery shows beds ready for restful nights, TV and multimedia equipment, towels prepared for use and wardrobes built into the living space. The bed quality appears solid in multiple photos, and several pictures depict a living area and a separate bedroom, suggesting thoughtful space management in a compact layout. While there are no explicit renovation notes in the data, the presentation in the imagery reflects a contemporary, clean style that prioritizes comfort after long days of sightseeing. Each room is designed to support a straightforward, relaxing stay as you recharge for more discoveries the next day. Food and drink options are practical and simple. A bar is advertised on site, inviting guests to unwind with a drink or a light bite after a day of wandering through historic streets. A buffet breakfast appears in multiple photo captions, indicating a regular start to the day with a self service option. The hotel’s lobby seating areas also convey a welcoming atmosphere where plans can be made for the day ahead or reflections can be shared after meals. Overall, the offering is centred on convenience and a friendly, low key hospitality that suits city breaks. Family friendliness is a notable consideration for this property. The policies clearly state that children are not allowed, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. The maximum number of guests per room is three, and check in requires a minimum age of 18. There is no curfew, allowing guests to come and go as they please. This makes Kupa Hotel ideal for adults seeking an uninterrupted, city focused stay in a historic district, rather than a family friendly resort experience. Wellness and entertainment options are not described beyond the on site bar and the communal lobby spaces. However, a central city centre stay offers abundant energy, culture and people watching that many travelers crave. Free WiFi is available in all areas, supporting digital planning, streaming and staying connected as you explore. The surrounding neighbourhood provides endless opportunities to sample local life, from daytime sightseeing to evening strolls through historic lanes and lively markets. The location is particularly strong for guests who want to minimize transit time and maximize immersion in Istanbul’s enduring charm. Who is this hotel ideal for? Adults and couples who value location over extensive resort facilities will find Kupa Hotel a compelling base in the Old City. It suits travelers who want to stay within walking distance of major attractions, enjoy a simple on site bar and buffet breakfast, and appreciate straightforward policies such as a minimum check in age of 18 and no extra beds. If you are traveling without children and you prefer a compact, city focused stay with flexible access to the city’s cultural heartbeat, Kupa Hotel offers a practical, comfortable option in one of Istanbul’s most storied neighbourhoods.
