Guest Reviews
Location is very good, friendly staff.
Convenient location and helpful staff We stayed at Boutique Sultan Hotel and appreciated its central location — very close to major attractions like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff were helpful and polite. Overall, a good option for those looking for a reasonably priced stay in the city center.
The people where very friendly and helpful. It was clean.
Location was amazing, right in the heart of the old city. Staff were SO helpful and really warm and welcoming. The bedroom served us well and was good value for money. Roof terrace and food at the restaurant were great too :)
Great location, great staff. Comfortable room with all amenities. Just be careful of uneven steps when going up to terrace/restaurant but worth it for beautiful view when relaxing in the evening. While very clean, like many places we've come across in Turkey, we noticed the odd smell from the shower drain due to poor plumbing layout... a reflection of building practices rather than the accommodation. Staff were wonderful and considerate, giving us a bottle of water for our bus trip as we sadly departed from the beautiful, crazy city of Istanbul. Overall, very happy with our stay.
All the staff were very friendly, halpful and polite. They answered most of our questions and recommended places as well as transportation i. e. taxi transfer to the airport - very helpful. Home-made soup was out of this worold. Thank you for everything.
Location and good-hearted family that runs the place.
Thank you so much for good service with gentle personals. The hotel is clean and has an excellent location.
Antonio is a very helpful person, he speaks English and Spanish well so we were able to understand each other without any problems. He gave us a lot of tips for our trip. Excellent quality price. Great location. Highly recommended!
Hospitality of the stuff and Location the most
The location is perfect and the staff behavior is courteous.
It was very conveniently situated to walk to all the top attractions in the old city. Ferdie was very helpful. The room was very clean. In spite of the very small room it was good value for the reasonable price.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were super nice and very helpful. Great value for money.
Excellent location close to blue mosque. Lot of restaurants close to hotel, very friendly staff. Overall very good stay with my family.

About This Hotel
Boutique Sultan Hotel sits in Istanbul’s historic Sultanahmet district, a neighborhood where centuries of history unfold in narrow lanes and grand monuments. Staying here puts you in easy reach of the city’s greatest sights on foot. The Blue Mosque is about 270 metres away, and Hagia Sophia is a short walk of around 900 metres. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and a 24 hour front desk is on hand to assist with recommendations, directions, or late night arrivals. The address places you squarely in the heart of old Istanbul, close to markets, cafes, and historic churches. With just seven rooms, Boutique Sultan Hotel offers an intimate, boutique experience in a location that rewards foot travelers. The building reflects the charm of the area while staying compact enough to feel personal. Guests will appreciate the easy access to Istanbul’s architectural jewels and the sense of stepping into a living museum each day when stepping outside. While the listing emphasizes the property’s setting and the convenience of nearby sights, the hotel itself is clearly designed for travelers seeking an authentic, comfortable base from which to explore by day and unwind by night. Inside, seven guest rooms provide a simple, well arranged space for rest after a day of sightseeing. The photos suggest comfortable bedding and tidy bedding arrangements, along with clean, practical bathrooms. Details about renovation or modernization are not published in the data, but the overall presentation hints at a thoughtful approach to making the rooms feel welcoming and functional for short stays. Guests can expect clear, straightforward accommodation that focuses on comfort and convenient connectivity in a busy UNESCO World Heritage area. In the room photos you can clearly see beds designed for restful nights, with multiple views that emphasize space and comfort. Bathrooms appear clean and well maintained in the gallery, supporting a practical, no fuss approach to daily routines. While we do not have explicit measurements or a full list of fixtures, the consistent emphasis on beds and bathrooms in the imagery conveys a sense of dependable, comfortable accommodation that suits couples and small families alike. The listing does not specify on site dining options, so travelers should not assume the presence of a restaurant. Photographs in the hotel gallery include images titled Restaurant/places to eat, but there is no confirmation of an on site restaurant in the information provided. For guests who value flexibility, this means you can plan meals around the area or in nearby venues, while returning to a quiet boutique base after a day of sightseeing. The absence of stated dining facilities is balanced by the convenience of a central location and reliable WiFi. Family friendly policies are clearly outlined in the information. The property accommodates up to five guests, with specific guidelines about cots and beds. All cots and extra beds are subject to availability, and there is no capacity for additional beds beyond the listed options. Children of any age are welcome, and there are details about pricing for younger guests. Specifically, children seven years and above are charged as adults at this property. When using existing beds, one child up to six years old stays free, and when a cot is used, one child up to two years old may stay free. These policies are designed to help families plan a comfortable stay while understanding how occupancy and pricing work. Check-in from 14:00 to 00:00 and check-out by 12:00 provide firm windows for planning arrivals and departures. There is no age restriction for check-in, and the hotel operates with a 24 hour front desk to assist at any time. WiFi is free in all areas, ensuring connectivity for planning day trips or streaming entertainment back in the room. Private parking is available nearby at a cost of 5 EUR per day, and reservations are not required. Pets are not allowed, which is a common policy for properties in this area. The Boutique Sultan Hotel is particularly well suited for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul’s historic core. It appeals to couples seeking a quiet, intimate setting close to major mosques, palaces, and museums, as well as solo explorers looking for a practical base with strong connectivity and easy access to public transport and pedestrian-friendly streets. Families with younger children benefit from clear occupancy guidelines and the potential for complimentary stays for very young kids under specified conditions. While the hotel may not advertise extensive facilities like a spa or a large pool, its strength lies in the location, the convenience of WiFi and front desk support, and the charm of a small boutique property in one of Istanbul’s most visited districts. In short, this hotel offers an authentic Istanbul experience in a coveted neighborhood. It is ideal for guests who value location first, enjoying close proximity to iconic landmarks, and who want a simple, comfortable, and well connected home base for exploring the city on foot. If you plan a culturally rich trip centered on the historic heart of Istanbul and want a compact, friendly place to return to each evening, Boutique Sultan Hotel is a compelling choice that balances character with practicality.
