Doruk Palas Hotel

We loved the location and the quality of the property itself. It’s a comfortable hotel with all the expected amenities but with a 5-star service which to is puts them at the top. The location is great for exploring all the major sites of Istanbul and you are at walking distance to Galata Tower and the bridges to cross to the Sultanahmet. Their staff is genuinely caring and helpful, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, give you suggestions on what to do and how to do it, and are just all around fantastic people you would like to grab a cup of tea with. A shout out to Gofrane who helped us plan a day out, Muhammad who was always courteous and welcoming, Bilal who practices his Spanish with us and greeted us most nights and Ahmad who was always there to help. The breakfast is great and filling and sets you up for a day of sightseeing and they offer transfer services to and from the airport which was really great as grabbing an uber or taxi at the airport can be a bit overwhelming and public transport is not really an option.

Our room and all the common areas were super clean, the staff were always pleasant, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient since it’s close to the sightseeing areas and also near the public transportation. Plus: the view from the room!

Very friendly staff and delicious breakfasts! The location is perfect for a few days to explore the city, with the metro nearby and plenty of great local spots for a tasty lunch ☺️

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was also good. The owner Mohammed continually helped us with suggestions for dinner, sightseeing and things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The view from the penthouse deck is stunning

Everything was perfect! The manager was so kind,that he was letting us check in really early because we’ve arrived so tired,after an early flight! We liked the location of the hotel too. Really clean and comfortable room.

The kindness of all the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the hotel’s excellent location just a short distance from historical landmarks and Kadıköy made our stay unforgettable. We absolutely loved Istanbul and would definitely stay here again!

The staff were amazing! I stay in a lot of hotels and I have never come across such welcoming receptionists, they organised my whole trip and helped me for my bookings. Couldn’t have been better. Thankyou so much, it was much appreciated !

Wonderful stay, the staff were incredible went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, arranged for pick up from and to the airport, suggested restaurants and places to visit. Very close to Galata Tower and restaurants but quiet at night for a restful sleep.

First of all position is great - nearby Galat tower and on the close rich to metro and to Gold horn. But the most fascinating are people - stuff is incredible helpful and with warm welcome. I had never experienced such a friendly approach- thank you Doruk team.

Great location, very clean and very helpful staff

The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They were happy to answer any questions we had about restaurants, public transportation, and sights. They were happy hotel was very cozy and we had a beautiful view of the Golden Horn from our room. The breakfast was very good.

We spent a pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. Our room is well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast selection is delicious. The best part of the room is the soundproof wall. Usually in other hotels we have problem with noise from other rooms, but this room is very quiet.

We had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic, perfect for exploring the heart of Istanbul with so much to see and do just steps away. Even though our stay was short, everything was smooth and comfortable. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The property was in a great location, close to the main strip and surrounded by great cafes and places to eat. Well within walking distance of the local monuments as well! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful no matter the time of day or night. Our flight in was delayed and transport from airport at 12am was not an issue. I would highly recommend Doruk Palas hotel. 10/10!

We were a group of 6 people and everyone liked the hotel very much. Very nice and super friendly staff. Rooms were clean and bed comfy. Great location. Galata tower is 5-7 min away and in couple minutes more at galata bridge, many restaurants around. Breakfast was also good, we had everything we needed and they even prepared fresh scrambled eggs for free for us. Hotel is in a silent side street but your are in 20m at the main road. Just perfect.
