Marigold hostel

It was close to the marina and restaurants. We had plenty of room in our apartment and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was adequate.

Location, breakfast, service, hygiene

The accommodation was wonderful, with a very nice breakfast. The pool was calm and relaxing, but the highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. They were by far the kindest and most polite I have ever encountered in any accommodation. Absolutely attentive to anything we needed, extremely helpful, and genuinely caring. They even made sure we had everything we might need without us having to ask. Truly outstanding service that made our stay unforgettable.

Accomodation: There is an entrance little room with a small couch, tv and the fridge. The bathroom is functional and separate bedroom has a comfortable bed, cute make up table and a wardrobe that we didn't use (a bit squeaky). Several windows for those who like the light and good curtains to keep the sun out in the mornings. The balcony is pretty big, surrounded by trees, with a table and chairs. It was nice to sit there in the evenings, as the days were too hot. Not the newest furniture, and there could be some improvements in the future, but still very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Garden: Calm and relaxed mornings with breakfast and a coffee in the garden by the pool. Shade and a breeze, flowers and trees, cats and playful kittens. Even a hedgehog! Some people wrote that the pool is small, but it is actually a good size and not all the guests are there all the time. After the beach, we would come there in the afternoon for a swim and rest. Location: The hotel is very close to the city center, shops, cafes and restaurants and in a few minutes you are practically there. Great walks, beautiful and kind people. We visited several beautiful beaches around, and they were approximately 10-20 minutes by car from the hotel. And yes, you can park your car around the hotel and almost everywhere in the area for free. Just find a suitable spot. Hotel hosts/employees: Thank you for being an animal friendly place and accepting our cat. She loved Turkey, but not the fellow cats unfortunately (too scared and too spoiled). Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality. We felt very welcomed, safe and like at home. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and simpatic. He gave us all the necessary information (about best beaches, wind conditions, parking…), answered all our questions patiently and is just a beautiful example of what a real host/concierge should be - natural, kind and normal. It is a lot in today's world.

Small and nice hotel near the harbor. Very service-minded and helpful staff..

We travelled here by public transport from the Didim area so we chose a hotel that was within walking distance of the Otogar, yet handy for the centre. The location was perfect because it was quiet. The member of staff in reception was extremely attentive, very friendly, spoke excellent English and he gave us travel tips and advice for a visit to Alicate. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This is not a 5* hotel, so we didn't have great expectations, however, we found that it was just what we needed for our 3-night stay. It was the end of the season so the pool was closed and the hotel was quiet but it suited us just fine.

Very nice host

We fully loved our staying at Marigold. First of all, the staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful at all stages. Thank you very much guys (Rahmi and staff), you do a wonderful job! The room was large and accomodating, nothing too fancy, but very lovely. We loved the swimming pool area, not large, but enough to enjoy relaxed time at the Marigold. Breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and delicious. Position in Cesme is just perfect, so close to the center, but at the same time not noisy at all, with parkslots always available. Most importantly, thanks to this bunch of great people working at the Marigold, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making our staying one of our nicest memory of our Turkish holidays.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, great location

The hotel is nice, I would say you can feel good vibes. The receptionist is super nice and helpful. This is for sure one of the main reason to give an high score at the hotel. Pool is nice and not cold.

The staff at the hotel is super nice! They helped us with all of our questions and provided very useful recommendations. The hotel is super close to the center so it is easy to move around.
