Fantastic breakfast
Cozy stay at Janice and Kevin's house. They were friendly and polite, always available for advice. Very comfortable bed in a tiny but cozy bedroom with private bathroom. The apartment was very clean. Awesome breakfast to start the day in the best way possible. Highly recommended.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. All facilities first class, complete with superb Scottish breakfast. Best we have ever tasted.Congratulations, Janice, on providing such a homely atmosphere. For anyone staying in Inverness, we would highly recommend the Furan Guest House. Michael & Anne 12 October 2025
The owners went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and made you feel really welcome. Lovely people. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was clean. The guesthouse was about a mile (20mins walk) from the town centre. Early runners' breakfast if you're running the marathon in September.
Everything! We had thenlarge ground floor room which comes with its own bathroom. It is outside the bedroom, which had me worried at first, but it actually wasn't a problem at all because it still felt very private. The hosts were povely. The breakfast was AMAZING! Very high-quality haggis and black pudding. We would come back here again if/when we come back to Inverness.
Kevin and Janice are the nicest people and so accomodating. Our room upstairs was beautiful, spacious, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Eye to detail is amazing, even chocolate on your pillow. And wow! What an amazing breakfast. Will always remember our stay, thank you!
It’s a comfortable apartment with three separate bedrooms. It’s also free parking. The breakfast was really good. We ordered Scotch breakfast which included haggis, black budding and scone. The hostess showed her hospitality. She gave a packing box to pack the food we could not finished.
Very nice place to stay, with an excellent location and a wonderful host. You can see everywhere Janice's attention to detail and concern in making your stay the best experience possible. We all loved it and recommend Furan Guest house to anyone passing through Inverness.
Nice clean, quiet room, superb breakfast!
We visited with our family for the Loch Ness marathon. The property was fantastic, with great facilities for a family. Janice was so accommodating, getting up early to make marathon runners breakfast, and then driving them into town when the taxi didn't turn up! Would thoroughly recommend this property.
Comfortable beds, clean facilities & exceptional breakfast.
Exceptional accommodation. Beautiful bedroom with everything we needed. Very cosy and warm. Breakfast was brilliant and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Loved the attention to detail, magnificent breakfast but above all, Janice is the perfect hostess….. with Kevin very amiable in the background too ❤️❤️
The friendliest of the host. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was great.
Janice is one of the best hosts I've ever experienced. Her care for her home and her guests made this more than a stay but an experience. She exemplifies Scottish charm and friendliness and here wealth of knowledge made our stay so much better than it might have been. Everything we needed was provided and we wanted for nothing while there.
Exceptional hosts who made us feel extremely welcomed. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, the location was also good, just a 15-minute walk into Inverness Town. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We only stayed for 1 night as we were driving the NC500, but it was the perfect start to our break, and therefore, we would highly recommend Furan Guesthouse to anyone wishing to stay in Inverness.
You get a fresh breakfast every morning. I am sure nearly everyone here writes that. It is do delicious. Try haggis and blood pudding. The room was cozy and has everything you need. (We just slept there, but you can stay there on a rainy day if you wish.) Janice is such a lovely hostess. You experience right from the start how dedicated she does here work. It was a pleasure to meet you.
Lovely property with amazing hosts and great breakfast.
Lovely and clean, easy to find
We loved staying at furan guest house

The surrounding area is calm and convenient for travelers who want to balance sightseeing with a relaxed base in the heart of the city. Guests often appreciate the ability to park on site and start their day with a peaceful morning before venturing out to discover the region. While the listing does not mention a pool or beach access, guests can still enjoy outdoor spaces. Photos in the gallery highlight garden views and a garden area where you can sit and take in the Scottish air. This is a welcoming alternative for those who prefer a tranquil outdoor space after a day of sightseeing rather than a swimming pool on site. Rooms at Furan GuestHouse are en suite and individually styled, which adds a personal touch to the stay. Each room includes a television, making it easy to catch up on late night shows or plan the next day. While the data does not provide renovation dates, the emphasis on personal décor suggests a thoughtful approach to comfort. Expect a cosy atmosphere where guests can settle in and feel at home from the moment they walk in. Food and beverage options are not specified in the listing. As a bed and breakfast property, there is a strong likelihood of breakfast offerings in line with the B and B concept, but the data does not confirm meal services. Guests should check during booking to see what is included and whether dining is available on site or nearby. This uncertainty is a reminder to verify current options when planning your stay. Family friendliness is addressed in the house rules. Children older than five years are welcome, and the maximum number of guests allowed is five. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots, and the minimum check in age is eighteen. Pets are not allowed. These policies make the guesthouse a practical choice for small families or groups who want a simple, quiet base within reach of Inverness attractions. Wellness and entertainment facilities are not highlighted in the data, but guests can rely on the convenience of free Wi Fi across all areas and comfortable rooms after a long day. The garden spaces and surrounding landscape offer a pleasant backdrop for relaxation, while the compact size of the property often translates into attentive, personalized service. The favorable reviews indicate a consistently high level of cleanliness and comfort. Our gallery of photos shows a mix of garden views, inviting bedrooms and neatly appointed bathrooms. The decorative details in each room hint at care and attention, and the overall vibe is one of informal hospitality rather than grand luxury. For travelers who value a straightforward, friendly stay with easy access to Inverness, Furan GuestHouse presents a reliable, low key option that balances comfort, convenience and value. Who is this hotel ideal for? It suits couples and small families who want to be close to the city center while keeping costs reasonable.
