The host (Jonathan) kindly relocated us to a ground floor room as we had SO MUCH luggage. He was very helpful in giving suggestions of where to go. The property is right on the Esplanade and a short walk to the bar/restaurant areas. The only potential issue is parking, but we found a spot very close to the hotel and the host gave us a permit for it. Breakfast was stellar as well.

Jonathan and Karen were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. The staff serving at breakfast were also great being both efficient and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with a full range of options including fresh fruit, muesli etc. Good cafetiere coffee as well.

My parents had the most wonderful stay at Gloucester House. They were welcomed by such a wonderful host. They come to Weymouth often, and Gloucester house is now their favourite base!
Arrival was prompt and very informative. Jonathan and Karen greeted us with smiles and everything we needed to know. We were given clear communication about the stay and the local area. Gloucester house is very clean , well laid out and spacious. It has a great feel to it . The room was perfect for us and they had even laid out balloons , banner and a bottle of processco as it was a birthday celebration. We all slept very well for a front facing beach stay it was quiet and warm. The bathroom touches (soap shower gel and shampoo was a very handy touch as was the fresh water biscuits tea an coffee ) , a fridge in the downstairs lounge is also available 24 hours a day with fresh milk. Breakfast was 10/ 10 ample choice and fresh produce. The help yourself bar had everything from pastries to fresh fruit and overnight oats. The juices were fresh and tasty. Coffee or tea offered as soon as we sat down. All in all round uo of the stay ... welcoming, knowledgeable and kind hosts , fantastic breakfast, clean accommodation and picturesque location. Would i return ?? ABSOLUTELY :)

The property is beautiful, the rooms tastefully and comfortably decorated, it is perfectly situated along the promenade in Weymouth, the hosts were very friendly and accommodated some special requests, and the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious! We look forward to booking again!

The owners Jonathan and Karen greeted us on arrival , and from that moment on and throughout our stay were extremely welcoming and friendly . They even went as far as to congratulate us on the morning of our wedding anniversary when we came downstairs for breakfast and led us to a specially decorated table and brought us complementary champagne glasses with sparkling wine and orange juice . A very kind and considerate gesture which we very much appreciated .
The location is fantastic, right opposite the main beach and close to the centre and amenities. The whole place is beautifully decorated and very clean. Very easy check in and out. Our room was lovely, a lot of thought went into the little details that make for a comfortable stay. Great breakfast. Very friendly owners and staff

Gloucester House was a fantastic B&B, Jonathan and Karen were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious and was of restaurant standard. The rooms were nice with an incredible view of the sea but on the slightly smaller size but to be expected of a townhouse building. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
