Guest Reviews
The location is ideal for me - bus stops very close. It is warm and very welcoming and clean. I loved having a room on the ground floor! Good TV and good chair and cushion. Heated towel rail lovely.
The bedroom door handle (Family Room 6) was a bit noisy and slightly difficult to close.
Very considerate staff, a great location and very comfortable.
Big room, comfortable and clean. Tea coffee facilities which could be easily replenished. Location
Loved the spacious, clean, and well furnished bedroom, the extra hall area, and the spotless bathroom with a bath and shower. We found the room equipped with everything we could have needed, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, hairdryer, iron... The staff and manager were very welcoming and helpful throughout.
Nice welcome, staff who went the extra mile and comfortable beds.
A cosy, clean hotel in a great location. Lovely breakfast and really friendly staff.
Very comfortable hotel in a pleasant, quiet and fairly convenient location if you don't mind a bit of a walk into town. Good value compared with similar ones I've stayed at in Oxford. Good parking. I stayed during a very cold snap and my single room was warm and cosy.
It was warm, clean and tastefully decorated with a beautiful garden to look over when having breakfast. The room was very comfortable with good products and nice touch with choices of hot drinks and biscuits. Facilities were excellent, the shower was nice and hot. Books and games available for guests to use. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Fab team! Excellent location for restaurants and pubs with good food and only a short stroll into the city for all the sight seeing. Look forward to a return in the summer
Lovely hotel, room was immaculate
Very comfortable room, good drink selection. Fridge
Comfortable, well-furnished room. Excellent, varied breakfast. Good info on bus times into town. Off-road parking - I was able to leave my car there until midday on the day I left.
The room was larger than expected and was well supplied with tea and coffee making facilities, including a pod coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The breakfast options were a varied continental style including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc. There was also a selection of hot breakfast items such as sausage, scrambled eggs etc available in heated containers. The hotel is handily situated about a 15 minute walk into town and on a reasonably quiet street. Some parking is available within the hotel grounds. There are several good restaurants within walking distance.
The communication from the hotel was excellent - they rang to let me know my room was ready early if I wanted to check in before the standard time. The welcome was warm and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Its location(buses to city centre.) Available parking.Exceptional cleanliness.Good breakfast.Large comfortable and warm room.
Comfortable room, close to centre of town, with breakfast included
Absolutely lovely room, close to the centre. Best for the price I've found in Oxford.
Comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Great to be able to park at the hotel and a good location for easy access into the centre.
The hotel is a beautiful traditional Oxford house, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, with excellent facilities. The staff are wonderfully friendly, and the garden is absolutely lovely. It was an exceptional stay for me, and I truly enjoyed every moment.
Everything was spot on. A 20 minute walk to the city centre yet you feel like you are in a quiet village. Beautiful garden, gorgeous conservatory and cosy decor makes the whole place feel like home from home
