Lovely, homey and clean, the hotel was an absolute treasure! The room was just spacey enough, cozy and looked after, well supplied and cleaned every morning! The rest of the hotel is homey and warm, the host is absolutely lovely, a pleasure to have a chat with him every morning! Would definitely go back!
This place is a little gem, well maintained, and friendly host.
Room was clean and fresh. Host helped with whatever possible. Not a bad place to stay
Andrew was a wonderful host very accommodating and helpful very easy to communicate with.
A very nice cosy room in a very good location . As I was only staying over two nights it was ideal for the town the local store and the sea front and a short taxi ride to the airport. The hosts there made me feel very welcoming and safe as I was a solo traveller. I will definitely book again ! 🤗
The landlord was lovely and always made time to offer help
The front of the property has a very warm welcome and staff were more than friendly without feeling invasive! The room was spotless and had good creature comforts (tea, coffee, hand soap, TV). Great view of the sea and Isle of Wight
Location was in central of Bournemouth it was clean
Great welcoming owner. Why pay for a soul less budget chain when for less money you take a step back in time to a guest house with plenty of kitsch and atmosphere.
Andrew was the perfect host and could not have been more helpful. Plenty of storage space and very clean.
The locationis great, rooms are calm warm, cosy, simple, super little hotel just like being at home. Hosts are very helpful and kind!
The hosts were so welcoming. Very helpful too and lovely to talk to. The outside area looked very welcoming too, clean and tidy.
Extremely quiet and clean with nice comfy bed. Traditional old school seaside hotel. Excellent value for money. A fan in the room would have been nice
The room was clean & tidy & well lit with natural light, it had opening windows to allow natural airflow. The accommodation was in a great location close to the main square & the beach. The owner was very friendly, carried my luggage up the stairs & was very helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. I would highly recommend the "Newark" when staying in "Bournemouth".
Friendly and chatty host (Andrew) who sent helpful communications before my stay and was sympathetic / understanding to me running late for check in by being stuck on a motorway due to an accident. Andrew showed me my room and facilities and also kindly provided me with a paper map of the area so I could get my bearings. Clean room, and my room was tidied / serviced after my first night. Tea and coffee provided in room. Comfortable matress. Well presented garden and lobby area.
