About this activity
This tour will introduce you to the scenery and history of the Fethiye region. Your first stop will be the ‘ghost village’ of Kayaköy, abandoned by Greeks fleeing war in the 1920s. Your guide will lead you through the empty streets, and you’ll be able to view some of the 1000 deserted dwellings, from stone houses to churches, chapels, a bakery and a school. You’ll also get a look at the basilica, home to faded frescoes and mosaics. Next, you’ll get to ride the cable car up Mount Babadağ. You can travel most of the way up, or climb onto the chairlift to reach the summit. From the mountainside, you’ll have incredible views over Fethiye and the coast below.

The cable car ride to a height of 3937 ft is always available. The ride to 5577 ft is only available between June and September. The ride from 5577 to 6233 ft will be in a chairlift, and is only available to participants aged eight years and older.
The itinerary may be adjusted according to the month.
