Amazing find, will be returning upon our next visit to Edinburgh. Brilliant breakfast, comfortable and fabulously presented room and incredibly warm and welcoming hosts.

First of all the hosts was an amazing and very polite couple which it was a pleasure to meet them, then the atmosphere and decorations was excellent and outstanding and very clean

Amazing location run by amazing people. Out of all the places we stayed while in Edinburgh, it was easily our favorite. Easily accessible by bus if you’re trying to explore like we were. Breakfast was outstanding and getting to speak with the proprietors was a joy. The other guests were also friendly. We will definitely be back.

Everything! Amazing hospitality with excellent recommendations for dinner. All staff happy to help whatever the request. The club room with bar was a brilliant touch. Can’t wait to go back!

Immaculate house

It was absolutely incredible. Luxurious yet homely. The attention to detail was phenomenal. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had and we stay away A LOT!

The breakfast will spoil you for the rest of you life. Every day it is special breakfast in a Georgian setting dining room. The hotelrooms are cozy and romantic by design, quiet and spacious. The location was an absolute pre, away from the massive tourisme and the busline(s) will take you every 5 minutes into town. The ride into Old town will take you only 8 minutes, in heavy traffic, from the busstop in front of the hotel. And take you back to the hotel whenever you want, with bars like the Old bell in walking distance

This was a beautiful property, with gorgeous fittings and decor. The bed was really comfortable too. The owners were lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was possibly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. being from Edinburgh originally and having recently moved west I know the area well. it’s in a great part of the southside, fifteen to twenty minutes walk to the old town and Waverley Station but nicely quiet and well served by busses. next time we have to stay over in Edinburgh it will be here for sure.
