Exceptional place to stay while exploring Edinburgh. Super clean and comfortable room. James and his partner were very friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfast was brilliant as well - the perfect foundation to the day. The location is also excellent - far quieter than staying in the Old City but it was still easy to access everywhere - a bus stop literally outside the front door! Excellent time staying here and will definitely be back again in the future!

Staying in a guest house has been just lovely. James and Dora have been so hospitable, welcoming and friendly. And Leith has a lot to offer with Britannia being so close. Nice and peaceful

The best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The hosts are wonderful people, extremely kind and always ready to provide any information you might need. They think of every little detail and you feel truly comfortable in their beautiful accomodation. The location is perfectly connected to the city centre — the bus stops right in front of the accommodation and takes you to the centre quickly. The room is beautiful, spacious, cleaned every day, and exceptionally tidy — the cleanest I have ever seen. Also, the cooked breakfast is exceptionally delicious. Thank you for everything!

The overall experience was great. If you're looking for somewhere that's not necessarily in the city centre, this is an excellent option and is well connected. Leith also has lots of different things to offer and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. The service is excellent: James and Dora make it a very welcoming place to stay and enjoy Edinburgh.

James and his wife were great, made me feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Crioch Guest House! The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying. Dora and James are exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive. The location is also perfect: there’s a bus stop right in front of the house, making it super easy to reach the city centre, and it’s also close to the beautiful Portobello Beach. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Comfy bed, clean room with everything I needed, daily shortbread was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice.
