Dalmore Lodge Guest House

Room was comfy and clean excellent for buses into the city

Quiet…well connected to Edimburgh center (bus stop right on the street) and AirPort

The room was well decorated and bright and everything provided was in good order. Excellent provisions for tea-making in the room and everywhere was clean and fresh. Good soundproofing between the rooms and the self-check-in arrangements worked well. Parking was easy to find nearby.

It was clean and tidy. Rooms were cleaned daily. Towels replaced every 2 days. The rooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great. It was opposite the zoo and was an easy bus ride into the city centre. Has a great Chinese restaurant which was 3 minutes walk away too. Although I didn’t meet the owners in person, Iain and Dot kept in contact via email prior to our stay which made check in a breeze. They also provided helpful information in the room for us about buses, restaurants etc

Great value for the price.

Clean, easy check in

Everything

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was easy to access and right next to a major bus stop to get to/from the airport or city center. Great location. Bed was comfortable.

- great location at the zoo with many buses at the door step - very clean - very friendly host - nice interieur decoration

So conveniently located to uptown and the airport. Quick access to transit (public right our front, and car rental beside). On top of that the hosts are wonderful and very personable!

Nice room lovely coffee easy yo get to from town centre

Very comfortable, easily accessible, and totally spotless room. Very helpful landlord, nothing was a problem. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great communication and fantastic location. Really comfortable and a home-from-home feel. Thank you.

The room was nice and clean and had almost everything we needed for our stay. The location was nice. Although we did not meet the host in person, we were always kept well informed via booking messages and received immediate answers to any questions we had. Sometimes parking in front of the property was a challenge, but at the end of the day it was always a space for us.

Great location right near a bus that goes directly into the city.

We had an awesome stay in a nice, comfortable room that was even equipped with a small fridge (silent!) and a balcony. Although we have not met the host in person, we have always been well-informed via Booking messages and have got immediate responses whenever we have asked a question. Of course we were also lucky with the weather and could make use of the balcony. The washbasin is equipped with a modern 1 water tap system and not the old British 2 tap style. We travelled by train and bus and the bus stop Edinburgh Zoo is just in front of the house.

Small but cozy & lovely. The host was great & friendly. Very easy to do self check in.
