Lyzzick

Lyzzick is a hotel in a renovated historic farmhouse at Underskiddaw, near Keswick, on the lower slopes of Skiddaw; its name comes from nearby ancient woodland. Keswick is 2 miles away and Derwent Water 3 miles.

Rooms are spacious, each with a TV and private bathroom, and many face the grounds. Guests can use a cinema room, a library and a wine room. The Covey restaurant serves seasonal dishes, and the cosy bar has a lighter menu.

Private parking is available on site, and there is a shared lounge and a garden. With mountain views on the doorstep, it suits couples, walkers and nature lovers.
