What a wonderful stay this was! Allison and James were gracious hosts, who helped us with any questions we had and recommended things to do in and around Inverness. The room and bathroom were really good, and the breakfast was superb as well. If you are traveling to Inverness, I would definitely recommend Abermar Guest House.
Clean, beautifully finished, comfortable, great shower - just perfect! Fantastic breakfast and the owners are absolutely lovely!
Excellent

Location perfect, lovely hosts. I would highly recommend this
Breakfast is basic but good and served with a smile. Location is good a s only a short walk to the central business district. Very safe and quiet area. It is obvious that the owners James and Allison took great pains to make sure our and others stay was comfortable.
James and Alison are great hosts. The entire place is spotless, well appointed and a short walk to town.
Lovely hosts who went out of their way to assist. Room was well presented and very clean. Breakfast included all the items we enjoy and cooked well. Location great and an easy walk to cafes and shops. Inverness is a very scenic location.
The large and comfortable room, very clean all round. Lovely big hot shower. Warm welcome, good breakfast with plenty of veggie options.

very good location, very friendly landlords, nice cosy room
The couple that have the house are very nice, friendly, organized and make a great breakfast. Abermar Guest House is very close to the city center and it has parking so you do not have to worry about your car.
Abernathy is very conveniently placed to the town and walking from the train was easy. James and Alison are excellent hosts and provided a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and good hot water in the shower.
good location. very nice & caring hosts. room nice. checked us early.
Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable & superb hosts!
Handily located for Inverness city centre (just a five minute walk across the river), great room/facilities, very customer-friendly proprietors, and 'topped off' with a superb Scottish breakfast!
The owners were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!
The owners were very Helpful and nice. Breakfast was delicious and the place was easy to find and get to. Also the room was comfortable and clean..Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.
Great location, welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast
I liked everything and more! The owners were absolutely lovely and very professional and most of all kind and exceedingly gracious! The breakfast was 5 star as was the location with its proximity to town,a mere walk over the peoples(not cars) bridge.Everything a tourist could ask for was awaiting you with a mere walk over the beautiful scenic bridge, restaurants, museums, kilt shops, glorious period architecture ,music and bagpipes oh my!Please check out The Highlander and Hootenanny for their music and traditional dancing something really special to see and hear. These places I discovered all with the owners encouragement as I am an older woman travelling alone. In the morning as I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast whilst I dined with other guests who soon became friends, I was greeted with the owners pouring me a cup of coffee and placing my hot plate of sausages ,mushrooms and tomatoes amidst the array of toast on a silver toast rack-how very Downton Abbey!!! as they asked me how my evening out went and did I enjoy the music? Yes I cannot say enough of my stay.My room was spotless and very comfortable and very affordable however most of all I felt safe and at home. My late husband worked in 5 star classic hotels and 4 U.S presidents stayed at the Hotel in the states where he worked for over thirty years and in our travels together he was the first one to enjoy a pleasant affordable place to stay where the owners are the locals -there you are getting the real feel of being in someones home in their country and that is exactly how I felt at home and hearth with my Scottish hosts and new found friends!
