Airdenair Guest House

I had a triple room with private bathroom on the first floor, it was comfortable and quiet through the night. The heating worked and the valve was adjustable. The bathroom appeared recently remodelled or really well maintained. Fast WiFi. VPN friendly. It's clear the owners are thoughtful as they include UK power adapters for the under-prepared. The "continental breakfast" included bacon, eggs and porridge, which was a pleasant surprise. Drip coffee, which I prefer over espresso anyway. The location is about 30-40 minutes walk away from the royal mile, with lots of independent bars, cafes and restaurants along the way.

Greeted nicely, given handy travel information, the breakfast was good and the access to the building and room was really good with the digital coded locks, saving taking a key or card out with you.

really good value, located in a nice area of Edinburgh with frequent connections to the city centre. single room was comfortable for one night, while certainly small it was exactly what I expected based on the price and having a private bathroom in such a small and affordable room felt like a nice bonus. All communications regarding how to access the room from Duncan were easy to understand and made self-check in very easy. I would certainly consider staying here again when visiting Edinburgh!

Considering I paid only £60 for a desirable area near Arthur Seat it was more than adequate! It was in a quiet spot really I heard minimum noise from other guests

Lovely clean comfortable room with en-suite perfect for a one night stay, and the breakfast was lovely too.

The location was easy to navigate to. About $50 to the airport and far enough away from downtown to be out of the busiest areas but a super easy bus ride into downtown. Really responsive host. We were so hot and he gave us a fan. We skipped breakfast.

Very good breakfast. Good amenities. Easy access to bus to central Edinburgh. Quiet pleasant neighborhood. Good value for money.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Hot bacon and egg. Good selection. The bed was very comfortable for my choice. The room was clean and tidy. Liked the electronic door key and saved the hassle of carrying a key with you.
