Amazing breakfast with a lot of different options and a very nice view (of Blue Mosque and Bosphorus), clean and comfortable room, great location (5 minutes walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia) and nice neighbourhood with some cute restaurants and shops. Also kind and helpfull staff
The rooms were clean, the location was perfect, the breakfast was always fresh with a great selection. Staff was incredibly nice, particularly Mr Mahmut for always smiling and Mr Mustafa for the whiskey.
The location is close to some of the main attractions. The staff is friendly and willing to help
Good localisation.
Breakfast was amazing. The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is ideally located only a few minutes from the tram station.
Great location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. But…..the breakfast buffet was amazing!! I never expected such a great spread. They even had a real honeycombe!
We had a wonderful stay at this small but charming hotel. Its central location made it easy for us to explore the city, and everything was just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Vedat, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. His kindness and attentiveness truly made our experience memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!
Well located hotel near Blue Mosque. Clean and good size rooms. The staff made us an upgrade to a better room since wasn’t full the hotel. Great breakfast!
Awesome location, incredibly nice and helpful staff. The rooftop terrace is the most underrated feature of this hotel.
The staff were exceptional. They went out of their way to with the service provided. Answered all of our numerous questions. Would definitely return there. The breakfast spread is amazing. So much to choose from and fresh. We didn’t need to eat lunch.
The location is excellent and the ambience great. The staff were especially helpful, for example Mr Vedat who made a lot of travel arrangements and suggestions for me.
Great location and friendly helpful staff
The property was central to everything. The beds were comfortable and there was a lovely breakfast.
Fantastic location to get to shops, restaurants, blue mosque and the Hagia. Staff were wonderful and friendly. Very comfy beds. Had requested some oat milk for coffee at breakfast as we're vegan but perhaps they didn't understand us. But otherwise, highly recommended.
The property is in a great location in with super helpful and friendly staff. The rooftop cafe/restaurant has a great view and good food. Overall this property was very good value for money. Would definitely consider booking again in the future.

The compact property fits into the intimate scale of the neighborhood, presenting a quiet base amid lively streets. Guests benefit from the convenience of a central address while enjoying a sustainable stay. The 26 rooms are designed to maximize comfort without sacrificing a sense of personal service that staff aim to deliver. Beach and pool experience: There is no on site beach or pool listed in the hotel facilities. Almina Guest House is a city center, boutique style property that prioritizes restful rooms and convenient access to Istanbul historic district rather than a resort style water feature. Almina Guest House emphasizes soundproof, air conditioned accommodation, a combination that makes city living comfortable even in busy weather. The 26 rooms are designed to balance privacy with a warm, homely feel, and the sustainable approach extends to how the space is used day to day. While there is no explicit note of recent renovations, the emphasis on quiet interiors and climate control suggests a modern standard of comfort that helps guests unwind after a day of exploring. Food and beverages options: Breakfast is part of the guest experience, with indicators in the property media pointing to buffet breakfast served with coffee and tea facilities. While the core description does not spell out a full service restaurant, the availability of a buffet breakfast provides a practical start to the day without leaving the property. The simple dining approach aligns with the cozy feel of the guest house and supports a low key, value oriented stay for travelers who want to maximize sightseeing time. Family friendliness and activities: Almina Guest House welcomes children of all ages and sets a clear limit of three guests per room. There is no capacity for extra beds, but cots may be available subject to availability. For families planning a multi person stay, understanding these rules helps to tailor bookings and keep costs predictable. Relaxation wellness and entertainment: The hotel does not list dedicated wellness facilities, but guests can find a welcoming communal space. A lobby or reception area and a communal lounge/TV room are indicated in the media, offering a comfortable place to unwind, read or chat with fellow travelers. Some rooms feature balconies or terraces and the listed balcony options hint at the possibility of sea view in certain configurations, adding a small but meaningful element of escape to the everyday city break.
