Staff are the best part; they are all very kind, very supportive and very friendly and hospitable. Location is very good, 10 minutes walk to Sultanahmet mosque, and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Value for money is very decent.

It is a great location, and I love the balcony and view; also, my kids enjoyed a separate room. Friendly staff, especially if you speak English. Good variety of food for breakfast on the terrace.

Super breakfast

Masaru 8.0

The breakfast is very good. This is the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The location is also very close to the Blue mosque. The road to the hotel is cobbled, so if you have a big suitcase, it might be better to use a taxi.

Humera 9.0

Nice and cosy, Perfect location. Great breakfast and lovely, friendly staff.

About This Hotel

Located in the heart of Istanbul, Almina Hotel sits in the historic Sultanahmet district. Its address on Kucukayasofya Cad. Akbiyikdegirmeni Sokak No 27 puts you within easy reach of celebrated monuments. Step out and you are minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, two of Istanbul most recognizable landmarks. The setting is quiet enough for restful nights yet alive with street life, markets and the aroma of Turkish coffee. The property comprises 46 well furnished rooms designed to deliver comfort after a day of sightseeing. From the doorstep you will hear the call to prayer and you can sample the atmosphere of nearby cafes. The surrounding area is rich with history, mosques, palaces and winding lanes perfect for a morning stroll. The listing does not mention a pool or a private beach on site, which is common for a city center hotel, but the central location makes it easy to explore the main sights on foot. Free WiFi keeps you connected while you plan your next excursion or share a photo of the day. Rooms at Almina are described as well appointed with modern conveniences and a practical layout. Expect seating areas that create a compact living space within your room. Several options offer garden or sea views, while others feature a balcony or terrace to enjoy a moment outdoors. The emphasis is on comfort and convenience after a busy day of exploring the city. Dining and beverages are a central part of the Almina experience. The hotel provides on site dining with a restaurant and a lounge or bar where guests can unwind after a day out. The room gallery suggests coffee and tea facilities in the rooms and there are images pointing to breakfast options as part of the stay. Whether you crave light meals or Turkish classics, the on site options are designed for a convenient city break close to your room. Families will find welcoming policies that broaden the appeal. The hotel welcomes children of any age and the maximum occupancy per room is four guests. All cots and extra beds are subject to availability, ensuring you can tailor the space to your needs. The policy outlines a clear structure for children and beds, including one child up to three years old who can stay free when using a cot, and up to three children up to six years old who may stay free in existing beds. For children seven to twelve, up to three can stay for 20 euros per child per night in existing beds, while an extra bed costs 30 euros per night. The maximum number of extra beds is one and the maximum number of cots is one, making this a flexible option for families without sacrificing comfort. Beyond the rooms and dining, the property offers spaces for relaxation and socialising. The lobby and seating areas create a comfortable base for evenings in or planning the next day. A communal lounge and TV room appear in the gallery, inviting relaxed downtime for guests. Some photos reference massages as a wellness option, hinting at tranquil moments after long days of walking through the city. The on site dining areas contribute to a friendly and sociable atmosphere that suits both couples and families. Almina Hotel is ideal for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul historic core. It suits couples seeking a romantic city break, families looking for practical arrangements and flexible occupancy, and solo explorers drawn to proximity to the main sights. With free WiFi, attentive staff and a location that makes it easy to start daily explorations on foot, this hotel provides a reliable base for a memorable Istanbul experience.
