Guest Reviews
Guys, do not hesitate and book this place. The location is perfect. The hotel is cozy, atmospheric, and compact. I stayed in room 7 on the second floor. The room was spacious, beautifully designed in a traditional Turkish style, and very clean (which is unfortunately rare in Turkish hotels these days). No strange smells at all. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were really good. I cannot comment much on soundproofing because only three rooms were occupied during my stay, so it was very quiet. I would like to especially mention the staff. They are truly wonderful people. Friendly, kind, and always ready to help. I asked for a late check out, and they immediately allowed me to stay as long as I needed. Yes, the hotel was almost empty, and in summer this might not be so easy, but their willingness to accommodate guests says a lot. The internet was fast. The breakfast was tasty. Thank you!
Whenever I book a hotel, I look for something with character. The wooden doors frames and beams certainly fulfilled what I look for. The host was very friendly and helpful as were the ladies that prepared breakfast. Within walking distance of the Citadel and St John's Basilica ruins and not far from restaurants etc. Would highly recommend.
Emre's kind hospitality, gentle spirit, helpful suggestions, and flexibility were outstanding. The location is also excellent in relation to historical sites. I would definitely return. Thank you!
Location was great! Just 5-10 mins walk from everywhere! Emre was very helpful and the lady who cooked our breakfast was really friendly. The rooms were clean and well cleaned every day. Breakfast was yummy! Room size was decent.
Friendly, rooms were nice. Decor was good. Good position.
Breakfast was fantastic. Eggy bread was good along with the local foods. Kitchen staff was very and helpful. The manager was was extremely help and made sure we had a pleasant time. Location was great...walkable to many sites and the taxi stand. Perfect for budget conscious travelers.
Wonderful staff and hospitality. We were warmly welcomed by Emer, who was super friendly, helpful and provided valuable information on how to get to the Ancient Ephesus site. Location was perfect - walking distance to the Selcuk town centre, and to the Temple of Artemis, Ephesus Archaeological Museum and Basilica of St John.
The location was great, it was quiet, the host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good shower pressure, good breakfast.
Charming traditional hotel with gracious proprietor. Swimming pool !
The manager is really enthusiastic and kind, paying much attention to our needs and providing us travel information when necessary.
Cozy old place
As always, my place of choice to stay in Selçuk. The host couldn't be more friendly, and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast is perfect, the hotel cozy and makes you feel like home.
ALL, the host was very welcoming, very attentive. It was great. I highly recommend it.
We chose the family room which was actually 2 bedrooms connected which allowed for better privacy. The swimming pool is clearly a plus to cool down after walking to visit the attractions. The hotel is super close to St John’s Basilca and 10’ walk from the museum. Emre was friendly, helpful and gave us great recommendations about best time to visit Ephesus and nearby restaurants.
Charming. Personal. Cozy
The staff was incredibly helpful. I arrived at 3am and the owner went to get me st the bus station—on foot because it was close by and gave me my room right away. He also helped me find a room for an extra night at another hotel. Very kind. The facilities are simple but cant beat the value.
Such a lovely stay here; pretty, spotlessly clean, great a/c, comfortable beds and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast ever. Emre was so lovely and helpful. We wished we were in the area longer. Just perfect.
It was nice having a separate room for the girls! And after a long day of walking the ruins in the heat, the pool was just what we needed. The owner is kind and was very available!
I like how cozy and comfortable it was. The pool was so great. The decoration and style was exceptional. The owner was so helpful and friendly. Beautiful place. I felt like I was in the country side and that I was staying with family.
Excellent location within walking distance of Selcuk attractions and short taxi ride to Ephesus. Very good Turkish breakfast. The double room was large, comfortable and clean. Emre was extremely helpful with organising transport for us and also giving advice on what to see and do.
